Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 80,000 under the gun. Tom Vogelsang called in middle position, Marcelo Bonanata did so in the hijack, and Santhosh Suvarna defended his big blind.

The flop fell Q♠2♥5♣. Suvarna checked to Ponakovs, who continued for 90,000. Vogelsang called before Bonanata quickly folded. Suvarna then put in a check-raise to 235,000, which folded out Ponakovs.

The action was not over yet, however, as Vogelsang went on to put Suvarna all-in for 635,000 total. Suvarna spent two time banks before deciding to fold, leaving himself ten big blinds.

Vladimir Korzinin made it 95,000 to go in early position. Yulian Bogdanov called on the button, Alexander Zubov did so in the small blind, and Santhosh Suvarna defended his big blind.

The action checked to Korzinin on the 7♦4♣10♥ flop, and he made a very small bet of 50,000. Zubov was the only caller as Bogdanov and Suvarna got out of the way.

Korzinin sized up slightly on the 9♥ turn. He put in 75,000, which was again check-called by Zubov. Both players then checked through the K♥ river.

Zubov tabled 8♥8♣ for a pair of eights, but Korzinin won the pot with K♣9♣ for two pair.

Lin asked for a lady and got one on the Q♥K♥2♣ flop. Bonanata remained in the lead, with his pair of kings, however, and the 9♥ turn did nothing to remedy the situation.

The K♦ river made Bonanata trips to set Lin's status as bubble boy in stone.

"King Gaga," Lin concluded as he left the table. He went to the mystery bounty chest and pulled a bounty of $7,500 as a consolation prize before leaving the tournament area.

Both players flopped a pair on 8♠10♣A♣, but Lin's pair of tens remained the best hand on the 3♦K♣ runout.

"Because Lady Gaga," Lin explained.
