Jackson's Jacks fall to Munoz's Ladies

Nivel 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Daniel Jackson
Daniel Jackson

Daniel Jackson limped in for 25,000 from the button and Marta Miquel Munoz made it 75,000 to go in the small blind. Arian Kashani called from the big blind, then Jackson made it 365,000, leaving himself just 5,000 behind. Munoz then shoved, Kashani folded, and Jackson called off his last chip.

Daniel Jackson: JJ All in
Marta Miquel Munoz: QQ

"Any Johnny's about?" said Jackson while the dealer was waiting for permission to run the board.

Once the dealer did get the go-ahead, there was no improvement for Jackson as the runout of 68229 kept the pocket queens of Munoz in the lead.

Heads-up to a flop of J93, Mikhail Shalamov bet 110,000 from the big blind and Ivan Zabiiakin called in the small blind.

The turn was the K and Shalamov bet another 275,000. Zabiiakin again called and the 5 fell on the river. Shalamov then moved all in and Zabiiakin called for his last 1,000,000.

Shalamov turned over 86 for a rivered flush and Zabiiakin tossed KJ into the muck on his way to the exit while the massive pot was pushed to the new tournament chip leader.

Stefan Toderita raised to 30,000 in the cutoff before Taago Tamm three-bet to 125,000 in the small blind. Arian Kashani then moved all in from the big blind and Toderita buried his face in his hands before folding, while Tamm quickly called for 500,000.

Taago Tamm: AK All in

"Good luck," Tamm told Kashani as they prepared for the flop to come in the classic coin flip situation.

"Don't say good luck," Damir Zhugralin added.

"F**k it, I already said it. Okay, I'm canceling it," Tamm said. The flop proved a disaster for Tamm, as Kashani hit quads on QQ5. The rest of the board ran out 410 and Tamm was sent to the rail.
