The nine finalists are on a 60-minute dinner break. Play will resume at 8:30 p.m. local time.
Adrian Mateos opened to 40,000 from early position and the short-stacked Mehdi Chaoui defended his big blind. Mehdi check-folded to a bet of 30,000 on the 10♠7♥2♦ flop.
On the next deal, Artur Martirosian raised to 40,000 from middle position. Alexander Zubov used a time bank before three-betting to 120,000 from the button. The blinds got out of the way for the action to go back on Martirosian.
Martirosian asked his compatriot how much he was playing, and Zubov said around the 750,000 mark. Martirosian jammed as the big stack, and Zubov quickly folded.

Vicente Delgado raised to 40,000 in the cutoff, Adrian Mateos three-bet to 180,000 in the small blind, and Delgado called.
Both players checked the 9♣7♣5♥ flop. The turn was the K♦ and Mateos bet 280,000. Delgado called and the Q♠ fell on the river.
Mateos then bet 400,000 and Delgado moved all in for 1,200,000. Mateos snap-called and turned over K♥K♠ for a set of kings, while Delgado showed 5♣5♠ for a flopped set of fives as the start-of-day chip leader was sent to the rail in a massive pot that moved Mateos atop the counts going to the final table.
The remaining nine players are drawing for seats at the final table.

Martirosian continued for 70,000 on the J♣10♠5♦ flop and Hrabec called. Both players checked the 8♣ turn.
The river was the 5♠ and Hrabec led out for 85,000. Martirosian called and Hrabec showed Q♦J♥ for top pair to win the pot.
A few hands later, Mehdi Chaoui moved all in for 231,000 in the cutoff and Hrabec called on the button.
Mehdi Chaoui: A♠J♠
Roman Hrabec: J♣J♥
Chaoui spiked an ace on the A♥8♦7♥ flop, while the rest of the board ran out Q♣Q♠ and he doubled up.
"The only way I can win a hand against him," Chaoui said.

Biao Ding opened to 40,000 from under the gun before Adrian Mateos three-bet to 110,000 from the button.
Ding called to see the J♥6♥3♦ flop, and he check-called for 70,000, bringing in the 4♠ turn. Ding checked for a second time, and Mateos sized up to 260,000. Ding used a time bank before jamming all in for around 700,000 and was snap-called by his opponent.
Biao Ding: A♠J♠
Adrian Mateos: A♣A♦
Ding had top pair top kicker, but ran into Mateos' rockets and could not find his two-outer on the 5♥ river.
Ding's departure leaves the field with ten entries, and those players are on the final table bubble.
