The final event of a hugely successful 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague is well and truly underway, with 93 players progressing yesterday from 255 entries to Day 2 of the €10,300 EPT High Roller.
Those figures generated a current prize pool of €2,473,500, but with late registration open until the start of Day 2 at 12:30 p.m. today, December 14, at the Hilton Prague, the final tallies will increase further.
Conor Bergin of Ireland, seeking his first live major title, starts the day in second place (385,000), chasing Dutchman David Boyaciyan (538,500), who streaked away from the rest of the field and holds a 100 big blind lead.
Michael Sklenicka (348,500) completes the podium places, and the Czech player would surely love to get his hands on the trophy on home soil.
Bergin will be hoping to smash his biggest recorded live score of $17,500 with a deep run here. Boyaciyan's biggest live cash amongst $2.5 million in recorded winnings is a €535,000 score for second in the EPT Prague Main Event in 2011, and he is looking to go one better for his first EPT title. Sklenicka has over $2.6 million in winnings and is also aiming for his first piece of EPT silverware.

Parker Talbot (24,000) is the only PokerStars Ambassador currently in the mix, but no doubt he will be joined by some of his fellow spadies at late registration.
Players will return to Level 11, with blinds of 1,000/1,500, with a 1,500 big blind ante. Levels will be 50 minutes each, with twelve levels scheduled for today's play. Players who take advantage of Day 2 registration will sit down with a 50,000 starting stack.
