Gromov and Niste Clash Again

Dmitry Gromov and Mihai Niste have been clashing all day and just played out another pot where more chips exchanged hands.

Gromov raised from the button to 175,000 and Niste called in the small blind.

They went to a flop of K♥4♠6♥, which went check-check to the ts] turn. Niste fired out 210,000, and Gromov called.

A 10♦ paired the board on the river and Niste slowed down with a check, then Gromov slid out 425,000. Niste conceded, and Gromov got some chips back.

Khorchidian Busts Just Before the Break

In the last hand before the break, Rashad Iskandarov raised from early position to roughly 120,000 and Nichan Khorchidian called from the big blind.

The two players checked the 2♣10♥7♠ flop for the 4♠ to land on the turn. Khorchidian shoved the remainder of his chips and Iskandarov called to put Khorchidian at risk.

Iskandarov was ahead with his pair of sevens, but Khorchidian had a lot of outs he could hit on the river to stay alive. The 2♠ wasn't one of them and Khorchidian was sent to the rail at the hands of Iskandarov.

Umberto Ruggeri raised to 120,000 under the gun with only Joseph Houayek calling from the next position.

Ruggeri put out a continuation bet of 130,000 on the 2♦5♦9♠ flop, which Houayek called.

The 8♦ dropped on the turn and Ruggeri put out another bet, this time for 225,000. Houayek did a bit of inventory before opting to fold his hand and forfeit the pot to Ruggeri.
