With 15,000 in the pot, Thomas Hofmann, Pietro Corsi, and Antal Hamza went to a flop of Q♦K♥7♥. Hofman then bet 7,300 from middle position, which Corsi called in the cutoff.
Hamza folded on the button, after which Hofmann quickly moved all in for 12,600 on the 2♦ turn. Corsi snap-called with the covering stack, and the cards were tabled.

Hofmann had flopped two pair, which remained the best hand on the 10♣ river. He doubled up to nearly two starting stacks, overtaking Corsi in the counts.
A turn of 5♣K♦3♠4♥ was on the table in a pot between Giuseppe Fumi under the gun and Antonino Venneri in the hijack. With 16,000 in the middle, Fumi checked to Venneri, who made a bet of 15,000.
Fumi thought for a while before electing to call, leaving himself just 8,000 behind. Venneri put Fumi all-in on the 10♠ river, receiving an instant check-fold from his opponent.
Fumi showed his 6♠6♥ as he tossed them into the muck, with Venneri returning the favor and tabling K♠Q♠. Michele Fornaro was also on this table, playing a stack of nearly 250 big blinds.
Cem Akman moved in for 5,900 from middle position. It folded to Alain Ferrari in the big blind, who quickly made the call.
