Aces Versus Kings Versus Queens

Nivel 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Smriti Dewari
Smriti Dewari

A player from the hijack raised to 800, before Smriti Dewari three-bet to 2,000 in the cutoff. Then the player on the button four-bet to 10,000, and the small blind five-bet all in for 14,300. Once the big blind folded, the player in the hijack did as well. Dewari then six-bet all in for 16,300, and the player on the button was the covering stack, called to put both players at risk.

Small Blind: QQ All in
Smriti Dewari: KK All in
Button: AA

It was a massive cooler, with the three best hands in poker all facing off. The player on the button appeared poised for a double knockout, but when the flop came 102K, it was Dewari who seized the commanding lead with a set of kings. The turn, Q, gave the small blind some hope, as he also hit a set. However, the 9 on the river sealed the deal, as Dewari's set of kings held strong, giving her a triple up, cracking her opponent's aces, and eliminating another player.

Grant Foster
Grant Foster

A player from early position raised to 2,000, before Grant Foster three-bet all in for his stack 9,400 from the button. It then folded to the big blind, who four-bet all in, which got a quick fold from the early position player, leaving the players heads up, with Foster at risk.

Grant Foster: KK All in
Big Blind: JJ

Foster was in a great shape for a double up, and once the board ran out 8A4Q6 the pocket kings of Foster were still best, giving him the double up.

Action was picked up on the flop with the board showing 373 and roughly 25,000 in the pot.

After the flop, a player in early position bet all in for his stack of 55,000, and Prakhar Jain in middle position made the call.

Early position: 99 All in
Prakhar Jain: 88

The player in early position was in a great spot with the bigger over pair, and the J on the turn changed nothing. But the 8 on the river gave Jain a set of eights to take the pot and eliminate his opponent.

Action was picked up with a player all in for 75,000, and Smriti Dewari putting her at risk.

All in Player: AQ All in
Smriti Dewari: JJ

It was a flip with Dewari ahead with her pocket jacks, and she took a commanding lead after flopping a set on the J95 flop. But her opponent picked up outs in the form of a flush draw after the Q on the turn. But the river was the 10 and Dewari scooped the pot with her set of jacks, and eliminated her opponent.

Rob Mariano

Action folded to Rob Mariano in the cutoff and he raised all in for his stack 134,000. The player on the button then called for his stack of 30,000. After the small blind folded, the big blind confirmed the count of Mariano, and made the call.

Button: A6 All in
Rob Mariano: Q10 All in
Big Blind: AK

Mariano ran into big slick in the big blind, but he found a dream flop after it came Q85. The Q on the turn left both players drawing dead, and the river brought the 7 to give Mariano a flush for good measure, to more than double up and eliminate the player on the button.

After the hand Mariano said "Sometimes you gamble and it pays off".
