Alexander Wice Eliminated in 9th Place ($34,473)

Alexander Wice - 9th Place
Alexander Wice - 9th Place

Jeffrey Papola is now back up past the one-million chip mark again after eliminating Alexander Wice in ninth place.

The action folded to Wice who made a raise from the button; Papola quickly reraised from the big blind, Wice snap-shoved and Papola insta-called, tabling {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} but was miles behind Wice's {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}.

Papola found the gut-shot straight draw on the flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}, but Wice kept his lead when the {3-Clubs} blanked on the turn. However, Papola is keeping his Six-Max King moniker alive for a little while longer, as he spiked the {8-Hearts} on the river!

Wice picks up $34,473 for his efforts.

Raghavan Reaps the Rewards

Nivel 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

We haven't heard much from Ravi Raghavan, but after picking up some chips early on in this first session he's starting to get more aggressive against his tablemates.

Raghavan raised to 39,000 from under the gun; David Vamplew called from the cutoff, as did Anthony Spinella from the big blind, to go three ways into a flop of {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{A-Spades}.

All three players checked the flop, as well as the turn of the {Q-Clubs} and then once the dealer produced the {4-Clubs} on the river, Spinella checked to Raghavan who quickly fired out a bet of 83,000. Vamplew and Spinella folded.

Wice Takes a Slice Off Papola

Nivel 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Alexander Wice has picked up a pot against fellow Day 3 million-dollar man Jeffrey Papola as the action continues between our remaining nine players.

The action folded to Wice on the button to made it 32,000 to from the button preflop; Papola called out of the big blind and both players checked the {J-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop before Papola fired out 37,000 on the turn of the {3-Hearts}.

Wice called, so off to the river they went, which was the {A-Spades}. Papola checked, but quickly folded after Wice's bet of 65,000.

Colin Makes an Ace-High Call

Nivel 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Bryan Colin

Bryan Colin raised to 32,000 from the small blind and Geffrey Klein called from the big blind to see the flop come down {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Both players checked and the dealer placed the {9-Clubs} on the turn. Colin bet 36,000 and Klein called.

The {5-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and Colin check-called an 80,000-chip bet from Klein. "You're good," said Klein as he showed {K-}{Q-} for king high. Colin had him beat, but not by much with the {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for ace high.

Aggression

Nivel 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

From the button, Eddie Blumenthal raised to 34,000. Jeff Papola reraised to 80,000 from the small blind and action went back over to Blumenthal. He four-bet to 182,000. Papola decided that wasn't enough and moved all in. Blumenthal quickly mucked and Papola won the pot.
