Chip Counts at the Dinner Break

Wade Surging Ahead of Young

Tristan Wade moving up the counts.
Tristan Wade moving up the counts.

Jordan Young opened on the button and Tristan Wade raised 79,000 on top. Young called and the flop came {7-Spades} {J-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}. Wade bet out 85,000 and Young called to see the {J-Spades} turn. Both players checked and the river came {2-Diamonds}. Wade bet out 250,000 and after a short while Young called.

Wade tabled {A-Spades} {J-Clubs} for trips and Young looked sick while he counted out the call.

Isaac Kirchner Eliminated in 12th Place ($42,534)

Nivel 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Isaac Kirchner - 12th Place
Isaac Kirchner - 12th Place

Isaac Kirchner put up a brave fight, but has just been taken out by Foster Hays in cruel fashion to finish in 12th place ($42,534).

We picked up the action on a flop that read {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, but it was pretty quick - Kirchner led out for 72,000, Hays snap-shoved and Kirchner insta-called all-in, tabling {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} against Hays, who was gambling with the up-and-down straight draw holding {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

The turn of the {4-Clubs} was of no help, but Kirchner grimaced when the {J-Hearts} spiked on the river, giving Hays the straight. Kirchner is no more, while Hays is up to more than 1.9 million.

Matthew Davis Eliminated in 13th Place ($33,285)

Matthew Davis 13th place.
Matthew Davis 13th place.

Tristan Wade and Matthew Davis built a 300,000 pot before going to the flop. The board rolled {5-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} and Wade bet out 152,000 and Davis moved all in after a brief thought. Wade insta-called and tabled {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} while Davis stood up and reluctantly turned over {6-Clubs} {6-Diamonds}.

The board finished {7-Diamonds} {A-Spades} and Davis' headed to the payout line. Wade is up to 1.65 million.

Kirchner's Kings Are Good

Nivel 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Jeffrey Lavelle is now down to less than 1.6 million after doubling up Isaac Kirchner.

The action folded around to Lavelle who raised to 60,000 from the hijack position. The others got out of the way before Kirchner reraised from the small blind, making it another 82,000 to go. Lavelle called, but then open-shoved after Kirchner checked his option on the flop of {3-Spades}{A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. Lavelle snap-called.

Kirchner: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Lavelle: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The turn and river ran out {2-Spades}, {A-Diamonds}, filling Kirchner up and doubling his stack to 810,000.

"How Old Are You?"

Nivel 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Robert Koss opened for 55,000 from late position and Bruce Antman moved all in from the small blind for 364,000. Koss sat back in his seat and took off his hat.

"How old are you?' Koss asked Antman, who said nothing. "Problably too old to bluff here," Koss said as he tossed cards in the muck.

Tom Carman Eliminated in 14th Place ($33,285)

Tom Carman - 14th Place
Tom Carman - 14th Place

The action folded to Jordan Young who raised to 60,000 from middle position; Tom Carman shoved the rest of his stack in from the small blind, but Allan Le snap-called from the big blind. Young threw his hand away and the cards were tabled:

Le: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Carman: {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Board: {8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

Carman could only shrug his shoulders and walk away, but at least he'll have $33,825 in cash to cheer him up somewhat. Le is now up to more than 1.2 million.
