Gruneberg Wins with Big-Slick

Sitting in the small blind, Zachary Gruneberg raised the Button's bet preflop. The Button called and both players got to see a flop of {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Gruneberg then check-raised his opponent on who made the call. After a series of bets Gruneberg got all-in on a {6-Hearts} turn. Gruneberg showed the table {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, and was in good shape against the Button's {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

A river {K-Hearts} sealed the deal and Gruneberg doubled-up with a set of kings.

Trip Aces for RossKamm

After Dan Heimiller had raised and Stephanie Nguyen made the call, Andrew Rosskamm three-bet from the button. Heimiller got out of the way while Nguyen made the call. Nguyen proceeded to check-call bets on every street as the board ran out {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{A-Spades}{A-Hearts}.

Rosskamm proudly revealed {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} for trip aces, which was good as Nguyen tossed her hand in the muck.

Pairs of Aces No Good for Traniello

Action folded to Marco Traniello in the small blind and he decided to put in a raise. I Alexander Freitez was in the big blind and decided to fight back with a three-bet. Traniello made the call and then check-called the {10-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{K-Spades} flop. When the {A-Diamonds} hit the turn, Taniello was the one to bet out, and Freitez came along for the ride.

It went check-bet-call on the {4-Hearts} turn, and Traniello showed {A-Spades}{5-Spades} for a pair of aces; however, Freitez held {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a flopped two pair to take down the pot.

Grizzle Gains Chips

We found Sam Grizzle a few moments ago betting out on a flop of {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, the player in the Cut Off made the call.

A {K-Spades} turn slowed Grizzle down as he check-called his opponent's bet. A river {3-Diamonds} lead to both players checking and Grizzle flipping over {A-}{10-} for a pair of aces. His opponent mucked and Grizzle won the pot.

Young Doubles First Hand

Nivel 9 : 300/600, 0 ante

After a raise from JJ Liu, Justin Young and Shawn Buchman proceeded to get into a raising war that put the short-stacked Young all in. Liu got out of the way, and the two were heads up at the showdown.

Showdown
Young: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Buchman: {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The flop came down {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

"Chop it up," Young said sarcastically.

The turn was kind of scary for Young though - the {9-Spades}.

"Oh no," he said.

The {k-Hearts} on the river was a clean card though, and Young more than doubled to 8,000 chips.
