End of Day 2 - Event #25 $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better

It's been a relative massacre today - We started with 172 players at 3pm today, just over 12 hours later and and a mere 23 players remain with a shot of winning Event #25.

The chip leader at the end of the day is Cory Zeidman who sits at the top with 217,500 while TV's Norman Chad is in fourth place. Other notables still in and hoping to win some bling include Kirill Gerasimov, 2010 POY Frank Kassela, defending champion David Warga, Mike Sexton, Karina Jett (who made the final table last year), Cyndy Violette and Kristy Gazes.

Despite this, we still lost numerous "name" players including Allen Cunningham, Barry Greenstein, Jason Mercier, Thor Hansen while our bubble boy was the man who declared the game "stupid" at one point - 'MrBigQueso' himself Jim Collopy, suffering double indignity of busting this event without cashing AND not being able to play the $5,000 Shootout because of his involvement here.

Tomorrow, we'll be restarting at 3pm and (hopefully) playing down to a winner. Who will make it? Tune into Pokernews to find out!

Star Gazing

Kristy Gazes was all in on sixth and Tony Ma was debating a call, finally making it.

Gazes: {2-Clubs}{5-Clubs} / {4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} / {4-Spades}
Ma: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades} / {2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Spades} / {2-Spades}

Gazes flipped aces up and Ma sweated his last card knowing only a jack would allow him to scoop the pot, instead it was the {2-Spades} - the ultimate blank and Gazes moves back up to around 85,000.
