Dempsey Gives It Up

, James Dempsey called a bet of 1,000 from his opponent while out of position to the player. We're unsure as to whether Dempsey check-called or bet-called after his opponent raised. Either way, he put an extra 1,000 in against his opponent before seeing the 
pair the board on the river.
Dempsey checked on the end and his opponent bet all in for 2,025. Dempsey thought for a minute or two and then folded his hand. He was left with about one third of the starting stack.
