Romik Vartzar - 11th Place

Catching the action on the {A-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop, we found Romik Vartzar leading out for 35,000 from the big blind.

The preflop raiser - Zimnan Ziyard - made the call as the {k-Spades} landed on the turn and Vartzar moved all in for his last 65,000. Ziyard instantly made the call.

Vartzar: {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Ziyard: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}

With Vartzar drawing dead, he was headed to the rail in 11th place to leave us with an unofficial final table of ten.

Action Slowing

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

With players only one elimination from moving to the Thunder-Dome, and another from making a WSOP final table, it is understandable that play has tightened.

With the difference between busting now and collecting the gold bracelet nearly $400,000, we do expect that this conservative play may continue for a while.

Harder Pushes Out Parker

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Christian Harder limped the small blind only to have Brock Parker pot the action to 36,000 from the big. Harder made the call before checking the {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{K-Spades} flop as Parker continued for 45,000.

Harder slid out a check-raise of 140,000, and after a moment of deliberation, Parker kicked his cards to the muck.

Jeremy Harkin Eliminated in 12th Place ($24,441)

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Jeremy Harkin - 12th Place
Jeremy Harkin - 12th Place

Catching the action on the {10-Hearts}{J-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop, we found Jeremy Harkin all in against Ben Lamb.

Harkin: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Lamb: {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

With Harkin holding a wrap and superior flush-draw, the {7-Diamonds} on the turn, followed by the {3-Diamonds} on the river would see him brick out and be forced to exit in 12th place as Lamb moves to 970,000 in chips.

Kovachev Doubles Through Harkin

Jeremy Harkin potted after an opening raise from Dilyan Kovachev. It was enough to put Kovachev all in and he called.

Harkin: {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {4-Hearts}
Kovachev: {J-Spades} {9-Clubs} {8-Spades} {4-Clubs}

The board ran {6-Spades} {Q-Spades} {6-Hearts} {9-Spades} {Q-Hearts} and Kovachev made a flush to crack Harkins aces. Kovachev is up to 246,00.
