When we got to the table, one player was drawing three, Jon Turner was drawing one and last year's fifth-place finisher Jameson Painter was also drawing one. After the draw, Action checked to Painter and he bet. Both the first player and Turner made the call.
On the second draw, the first player drew two, while Turner and Painter each took one. The first player then checked, Turner bet, Painter called and the other player folded.
Turner stood pat for the final draw and Painter took one. Both players then checked.
The player in the cutoff raised only to find Jason Mercier three-bet before the first draw. It folded back around to the cutoff who made the call. The cutoff player took two cards and Mercier opted to draw one. Mercier bet out and the cutoff called.
On the second draw the cutoff took two once again while Mercier stood pat and bet out. The cutoff player called one more time. On the third draw, the cutoff took one and called yet another bet from Mercier.
Mercier tabled and his opponent threw his cards into the muck.
Action folded to Michael Chow in the cutoff seat and he raised. The button called and then Stephen Chidwick reraised from the small blind. The big blind, Chow and the button all called to head to the first draw. On the first draw, Chidwick drew one, the big blind took two, Chow took two and the button drew one. After the draw, Chidwick bet and all three of his opponents made the call.
On the second draw, Chidwick drew one, the big blind drew two, Chow took one and the button took one. Everyone checked to the button and he bet. Only Chidwick made the call.
On the third and final draw, Chidwick drew one and his opponent on the button stood pat. Chidwick then checked after receiving his final card and his opponent also checked. Chidwick mucked after his opponent tabled the and lost the pot.
We caught up with the hand on the second draw, where Jean-Robert Bellande drew two and Nam Le took one. Le bet out and Bellande made the call.
On the third draw, Bellande took two and Le took one once again. Le checked and Bellande shot out a bet. Le made the call and Bellande flipped over and was able to scoop the pot, bringing him to 12,500.
Action picked up when the player from the cutoff raised. Greg Raymer called from the button and the small blind tagged along as well. The cutoff and Raymer drew two cards while the small blind took one. The small blind player bet out and was called by both the cutoff and Raymer.
On the second draw, the cutoff player and Raymer took two and the small blind took one once again. The small blind put out another bet, getting the player in the cutoff to fold. Raymer stuck around, and he and the small blind player both stood pat for the third draw. The small blind checked to Raymer who bet out.
The player in the small blind tanked for a solid minute before finally tossing his cards into the muck, allowing Raymer to grab the pot and continue to pad his stack.
Before the draw, a player opened the action by raising and was called by Jeff Williams. The player on the button tossed out a re-raise and both the original raiser and Williams made the call. Each player drew two cards and it checked around to the button who bet out. The early position player made the call and Jeff Williams put out a raise that was called by both players.
The early position player took two, Williams stood pat, and the button took one. Williams shot out another bet and the button player made the call. The early position player folded and and we were off to the third draw.
Williams stood pat while the button took one. The action went check-check and Williams flipped up a to win the pot. He's currently sitting around 4,000.
