Out of the Hole He Doug

Mark Epstein raised to 22,000 on the button then called Douglas MacKinnon's all in for 155,000.

Epstein: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
MacKinnon: {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The board came {4-Hearts}{A-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and MacKinnon survived leaving Epstein as a short stack.

Warren-ting a Double Up

Max Lykov raised to 22,000 from the cutoff and Warren Wooldridge reraised all in from the small blind, Lykov thought for a bit and made a good call with {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs} since his opponent turned over {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. But the board didn't favour the Russian, coming {3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{J-Spades} to double the Englishman.

Ness Hits the Rail

With the board reading {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, action checked over to hijack who bet 16,000. Jason Vanstrom then went all in from the small blind for a total of 336,000 and Stephen Ness followed suit from under-the-gun putting his last 274,000 in the pot as well. The hijack got out of the way and the hands were revealed.

Ness: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Vanstrom: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Vanstrom's set of deuces was leading Ness' pair of kings. The turn only added insult to injury when it brought the {2-Clubs} giving Vanstrom quads. Just to rub more salt in Ness' wound, the river brought the {k-Clubs} giving him a full house that was still second best. Ness was eliminated while Vanstrom chipped up to 650,000.

Morgousky Doubles, Leibold Busts

With the board already reading {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Mickael Morgousky put the last of his chips in the pot against Irme Leibold. Morgousky showed his {5-}{5-} for a set of fives which was good enough to win the pot and double his stack. Leibold wasn't left with much in his stack and was eliminated in a hand shortly after this one.

Poe Down

Bobby Poe is the next player to fall, he was all in with {K-}{10-} but lost out to the re-emerging stack that is Ryan Buckholtz who held {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and made trips on a {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} board.

Buck to the Future

Ryan Buckholtz has just doubled his short stack twice in quick succession.

He was first all in with {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts} against Sebastian Roy's {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and lucked out on a {10-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop before the getting all in with {K-Spades}{10-Hearts} against Mario Dona's {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} by spiking the {3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{K-Clubs} board.

Michaelo Doubles

With the board already reading {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, Dror Michaelo checked and Terrance Eischens bet 18,000. Michaelo then raised to 55,000 and Eischens thought for a bit before sliding out a stack of large denomination chips that easily had Michaelo's stack covered. Michaelo decided to call and the hands were revealed.

Michaelo: {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} (jack-high and a flush draw)
Eischens: {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} (straight-flush draw)

Both players held flush draws, Michaelo drawing to a jack-high flush but Eischen's having one-out to a straight flush as well drawing to a straight. The turn and river brought the {8-Spades} and {k-Spades} changing nothing and Michaelo's jack was good enough to win him the pot and doubling his stack up to around 585,000.

Trueblood Suffers Suckout

Christopher Trueblood was all in with {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} against Sebastien Roy's {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and was looking very safe on the {2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, as well as the {J-Spades} turn but the {5-Clubs} river made Roy a wheel to win the pot.
