Chopping Bloch

Michael Mizrachi was all in with {8-}{7-}{4-}{2-} and marginally behind against another player's {8-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. However "The Grinder" drew a {10-} to his opponent's {2-} to survive.

Soon after Andy Bloch moved all in for his last 925 before the draw with Mizrachi calling in the small blind. Both players drew one card and Bloch turned over {Q-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} but Mizrachi had done well in the draw again, showing {10-}{9-}{8-}{6-}{3-} to pick up another pot.

Rheem Folds to Mortensen's Raise

Nivel 5 : 75/150, 25 ante

The action was caught with Chino Rheem betting out 500 from the cutoff, only to have Carlos Mortensen reraise to 1,500 from the button.

Rheem sat back in his chair, contemplating Mortensen's raise, and after a few minutes decided to fold, tabling {10-}{9-}{5-}{4-}{3-}.

"Show me!," asked Rheem, as Mortensen threw his cards towards him.

"Whoooo, I feel better," Rheem rejoiced as he peeled the cards and threw them in the muck.

"Did you have a seven?" asked an opponent on the table.

"Yeah, I had number two," Mortensen replied.

With that hand, Mortensen moved up to 5,500 and Rheem slipped marginally down to 3,800.

Deeb Wins Three-Way Draw

David Williams
David Williams

Shaun Deeb just knocked out David Williams and reduced Michael Binger's stack to his final rebuy.

All three were in preflop and drew one card.

Binger: {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-} - Drew a {K-}
Williams: {8-}{7-}{4-}{2-} - Drew a {7-}
Deeb: {9-}{6-}{5-}{3-} - Drew a {Q-}

With Binger and Williams both bricking heavily, Deeb's Queen-nine was good enough to scoop. He looks to be our chip leader. Other big stacks are Stuart Rutter (20,000) and Scott Seiver (14,500).

Greenstein Down to his Last Rebuy

Nivel 4 : 50/100, 25 ante

Barry Greenstein raised to 400 from middle position, before the player to his left moved all in for 1,200 total. The big blind thought for awhile before flatting, and Greenstein called to see the draw three ways.

The big blind stood pat, Greenstein took two and the all in player took one. The player in the big blind decided to lead out for 500 and Greenstein moved in for 2,400. The player who bet snap-called and showed {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, or "8-perfect". It was good to take both the side pot and main pot, forcing Greenstein to use his last remaining rebuy chip.

Fricke busts Tran

Nivel 4 : 50/100, 25 ante

Jimmy Fricke opened the action with a raise from the hijack to 350. J.C. Tran had just 1,425 left and moved it in from the cutoff. Action folded back to Fricke who called and drew one. Tran stood pat and revealed his hand.

Tran: {J-}{8-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Fricke: {10-}{8-}{6-}{3-}

Slowly, Fricke peeled his last card. It was a {5-} which sent Tran to the rail. Fricke is now one of our larger stacks with 11,800.

Elezra Makes a Seven

Nivel 4 : 50/100, 25 ante

The cutoff raised to 300 and the button three bet to 875. Eli Elezra, in the small blind called. He and the original raiser each drew one and the three-bettor on the button stood pat.

Elezra opened the action after the draw and bet 700. The second opponent folded and the button called. Elezra flipped over {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} to ship the pot.

Elezra has now amassed 8,400 chips.
