One for the Last Woman Standing

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Jackie Glazier
Jackie Glazier

Jackie Glazier opened for 4,000 under the gun and Alexander Venovski defended his big blind. Venovski proceeded to check-call a bet of 5,600 on the {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop, and then both players checked the {6-Hearts} turn. When the {5-Spades} completed the board on the river, Venovski led out for 8,500 and Glazier called.

Venovski tabled the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for top pair, but it was no good as Glazier had him out kicked with the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

Hunichen Crippled in Flip; Eliminated Shortly Thereafter

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Chris "BigHuni" Hunichen opened for 4,500 from the hijack and was met by a three-bet to 13,000 by Heinz Kamutzki in the small blind. Hunichen responded with a four-bet to 29,000 and made a quick call when Kamutzki announced that he was all in for 102,100.

Kamutzki: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Hunichen: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Hunichen wasn't excited and remarked that he hadn't run well in situations like this. His feeling proved right as the board ran out a dry {5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Hunichen was left with just 9,500 after the hand, and it went in a short time later against Kamutzki.

Hunichen: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Kamutzki: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop gave Kamutzki a hammerlock on the hand, and the {5-Hearts} turn left Hunichen drawing dead. The meaningless river was put out to make it official, and then Hunichen took his leave in 61st place for $5,970.

Volpe Doubles Through MacPhee

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

After being crippled and left with just 15,000 in chips, Paul Volpe committed it from the under-the-gun position and Kevin MacPhee moved all in over the top from the small blind, which prompted the big blind to fold.

MacPhee: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Volpe: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

MacPhee was well out in front, but Volpe managed to get lucky after the board ran out {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

Korik Wakes Up with Kings

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Action folded to Artem Metalidi on the button and he raised to 4,200. Zachary Korik responded by three-betting to 11,700 from the small blind, the big folded, and Metalidi thought for a bit before four-betting to 24,200. Not content, Korik five-bet to 39,100 and the snap-called off for 109,800 after Metalidi six-bet shoved.

Metalidi: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Korik: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Metalidi just rolled his eyes when he discovered he was dominated, and he sent over a good portion of his chips when the board ran out a dry {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

Dunst Bounced by Buddiga

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst

We caught the action on the {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop when Pratyush Buddiga bet 10,000 and Tony Dunst raised all in for 68,000 from the button. Buddiga made the call and the cards were turned up.

Dunst: {7-Spades}{8-Spades}
Buddiga: {9-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Buddiga was ahead with sixes and nines, but Dunst was drawing live to an open-ended straight draw. Unfortunately for the host of the World Poker Tour's Raw Deal, the {2-Diamonds} blanked on the turn followed by the {A-Spades} river and he found himself without chips.

Can Volpe Capture Another Bracelet?

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

In one of the last hands of Level 13, a player in the cutoff opened for 3,400 and then called when recent WSOP bracelet winner Paul Volpe three-bet to 7,600 from the button. The {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop saw the cutoff check-call a bet of 7,200, and then both players checked the {A-Clubs} turn. When the {8-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, The cutoff led out for 19,600 and then folded when Volpe shoved all in.
