Action During the Break

Nivel 9 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Josh Arieh - Eliminated
Josh Arieh - Eliminated

Right before the break, Jason Mercier opened to 2,800 from under the gun, and three players called including Barry Hutter. Mercier continued for 5,200 on a flop of {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, Hutter called, and the turn was the {q-Diamonds}.

Mercier fired out another 5,200, Hutter once again called, and the {3-Diamonds} fell on the river. Mercier bet 22,600, Hutter moved all in for an additional 54,000, and Mercier folded.

While that hand was wrapping up, and players were starting to exit for the break, Josh Arieh was all in and at risk with {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Unfortunately for him, Alec Torelli tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}, and the aces held up.

Three Barrels from Julius

Nivel 8 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Darren Elias and a second player checked to Kyle Julius on a flop of {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, and the Chicago native fired out 3,500. Both of his opponents called.

The turn was the {5-Spades}, the two players knuckled again and Julius bet 8,800. This time Elias folded and the second player called.

The {2-Hearts} completed the board, the player checked a third time and Julius emptied the chamber. His final bullet was worth 19,600 and his opponent opted to fold.

Scott > Scott

Nivel 8 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Scott Clements check-called a bet of 3,700 from his neighbor Scott Seiver on a flop of {2-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades}, and the turn was the {5-Clubs}. Clements check-called another bet - this one was worth 9,000 - and the {3-Diamonds} completed the board.

Both players checked, Clements tabled {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}, and Seiver mucked his hand.
