Updated Chip Counts from Table 363

Nivel 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Loosli Cut Loose

Nivel 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

November Niner Sylvain Loosli opened for 6,000 and was met by a three-bet to 17,300 from Taylor Paur. Loosli responded by moving all in for 97,000 and Paur called him.

Paur: {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Loosli: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Loosli was well out in front thanks to his kicker, but that changed when the {2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop delivered Paur the lead with a pair of jacks. The {2-Diamonds} turn meant Loosli needed a queen on the river, but the lady did not appear. Instead it was the {5-Diamonds} and Loosli was eliminated.

Onward to the Final Table for Kilpatrick

Nivel 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Kory Kilpatrick
Kory Kilpatrick

John Dolan moved all in from the button for 60,000 or so and Kory Kilpatrick made a quick call from the big blind.

Dolan: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Kilpatrick: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Dolan went with his ace, but it proved to be ill timed as Kilpatrick woke up with a better one. The {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{q-Spades} flop was no help to Dolan, but the {5-Clubs} turn gave him a little hope to a wheel draw. He needed either a deice or three on the river to keep his shootout life alive, but that didn't happen as the {7-Spades} blanked on the river.

Kilpatrick will take 344,000 into tomorrow's final table.

Jack Duong

Sorel Mizzi raised to 6,500 on the button, Jack Duong three-bet to 17,000 in the big blind and Mizzi called to see a {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop.

Duong checked, Mizzi bet 21,000, and Duong check-raised all in. Mizzi called all for about 110,000 with {K-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, drawing against Duong's {Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. The {4-Hearts} turn gave Mizzi some help, but the {Q-Hearts} river provided none, securing the victory for Duong.

Galfond Takes the Lead vs. Newman

Nivel 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Just before the level went up...

Phil Galfond raised to 4,000 on the button, Stewart Newman three-bet to 11,000 in the big blind and Galfond called. The flop came down {K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Newman continued for 9,000. Galfond called, the {3-Diamonds} turned, and Newman checked. Galfond bet 19,000, Newman called, and the {A-Spades} river completed the board. Newman check-called 34,000 from Galfond and mucked when Galfond tabled {Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a flush.

A Nice Flop for Dolan

Nivel 5 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Kory Kilpatrick moved all in from the button and John Dolan called off his paltry 22,900 from the big blind.

Kilpatrick: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Dolan: {k-Spades}{5-Clubs}

"That's a fun flop," Kilpatrick said when the {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop gave him a flush draw and his opponent trips. Dolan took the lead, but he needed to dodge hearts. He did so on the {3-Diamonds} turn, and then again on the {Q-Clubs} river.

Loosli: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Paur: {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, securing the double up for Loosli.
