Another KO for Gregg

Nivel 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

We arrived to the table as Tony Gregg made a call against a preflop shove from a player in late position. Gregg had his opponent crushed, covered, and at risk.

Gregg: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The board rolled out {4-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Gregg sent his opponent to the rail.

Sean Prendiville

Fresh off a 23rd place finish in the Millionaire Maker - which was good for $50,614 - Sean Prendiville is looking to take it one step further. He is off to a good start today with 65,000 in chips as we near the end of Level 10. That's over 80 big blinds, which in comparison to the majority of the remaining players is a huge stack. He's among the leaders in the tournament at this point.

Harrington is in the House

Nivel 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Dan Harrington is one of poker's legends. Having won the 1995 World Series of Poker Main Event for $1,000,000, Harrington went on to reach back-to-back WSOP Main Event final tables in 2003 and 2004 where he finished third and fourth for scores of $650,000 and $1,500,000.

Harrington is equally as famous for his tournament strategy books that bear his name and will be adopting some of the strategies from those pages here in Event #23.

Harrington currently has 16,000 chips in his stack and is still in the hunt for what would be his third WSOP bracelet.

Second Break of the Day

Nivel 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Players are on a 20-minute break. They will be coloring up the green T25 chips on this break. There are 324 of the original 1,473 players meaning we have lost 1,149 players in under five hours of play. We're only 153 players from the money.

Drinking Roses

Nivel 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

We caught a conversation between Ireland's Dermot Blain and a Russian gentleman at Blain's table. Blain was puzzled as to what was in his opponent's drink bottle, as it looked half-full with a white material.

"Roses. It's roses," said the Russian before adding, "I bring my own here, it helps me to sleep."

Another player quipped that he was surprised customs let him into the country with roses in his suitcase, stating, "Those guys usually won't let you bring a sandwich from the plane into the country!"
