The Champ is Crippled

Nivel 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

A player in early position raised to 3,200 and Ryan Riess moved all in for an effective 21,200. It was folded back to the early position player who quietly said I call as he gracefully turned over {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}.

"Nice hand, maybe I'll get lucky," said Reiss as he tabled {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}.

The board would run out {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Reiss would be left with just two big blinds after shipping the majority of his stack across the table.

Keeping Up With the Joneses

Nivel 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Matt Glantz raised to 2,500 from early position, one player folded and British pro Rhys Jones called. Jones was the only caller so it was heads-up to the {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop.

Glantz checked the flop and Jones checked behind. The dealer placed the {Q-Hearts} onto the turn and Glantz checked. Jones bet 2,700 and Glantz wasted little time in mucking his hand.
