Do You Believe in Magic

Nivel 5 : 200/400, 0 ante

Antonio Esfandiari has been very active so far today and despite coming down off a high water mark of 99,000 in chips earlier, he got back to his winning ways in a recent pot with Noah Schwartz.

Esfandiari called a 1,000 open from Schwartz and the two went heads-up to an {8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop. He also came along for the ride when Schwartz bet 1,300 on the flop, but after a check from Schwartz on the {6-Hearts} turn, he took the lead making it 2,300.

A displeased and now even shorter stacked Schwartz threw his hand in the muck.

Steven's Barrels Get Through

Nivel 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

On the button, Brandon Steven bet 2,300 against two opponents on a {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{a-Hearts} flop, and Dani Stern in the big blind was the only caller. Stern check-called a 3,800 bet on the {q-Diamonds} turn, and a {4-Spades} hit the river. Stern checked again, and Steven fired 5,000. Stern finally relented, letting his hand go.

Sweating The Heat

Nivel 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

NBA Finals coverage has taken up most of the TVs in this half of the Amazon Room.

But with the San Antonio Spurs once again out to a big lead late in the third quarter, most players attention has come back on the felt.

It would appear there are still some Miami Heat holdouts in the field today, however, with one player taking a bet on the Heat to win the series, despite looking like they are about to go down 3-1.

But even he admitted he didn't really like their chances, it was just the gambler in him forcing him to take the 10-1 odds on offer.

Koon Hunting

Nivel 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

Jason Koon appeared to be in the midst of a rather tough decision, groaning as Sorel Mizzi bet 6,400 into almost 9,000 following the river on a {k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} board.

He spent a good two minutes in the tank before eventually emerging with a fold. Mizzi had just recently been moved onto the table and appears to have righted the ship after a slow start while Koon's early level profits have declined.

Stay Active

Nivel 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

Two very active players are seated side by side over on Table #368. But being in a ton of pots hasn't helped either Dwyte Pilgrim or Ludovic Lacay very much today.

Both have less than they started with and were caught tangling over a recent pot. Lacay checked-called a 700-chip Pilgrim bet on the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop, before both checked the {a-Hearts} river.

Lacay took the lead after the {8-Hearts} river, making it 1,200, but Pilgrim quickly fired back, raising it up to 3,800. Pilgrim mumbled something about not being the only one who can raise it up on the river and Lacay folded his hand.
