What Time Is It? It's Dinner Time!

Nivel 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Level six is done and dusted and that means the 700 players who are still in this event are heading off for a well deserved dinner break.

Our coverage will recommence in 90-minutes, which should be around 20:15 local time.

Polychronopoulos Continues to Climb

Nivel 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Athanasios Polychronopoulos
Athanasios Polychronopoulos

Athanasios Polychronopoulos recently finished second in the $10,000 WSOP National Championship, narrowly missing out on his second bracelet as a result. He's looking to make amends for that close call here in Las Vegas and is doing his chances of glory no harm so far.

We saw Polychronopoulos' staring down his opponent as he waited for the big blind to act on a {2-Spades}{6-Spades}{A-Spades} flop. The player in the big blind checked, prompting a 450 bet from Polychronopoulos, who then went back to staring. Whether it was his intense gaze or the lack of a playable hand from the big blind is unknown, but the big blind folded and Polychronopoulos boosted his stack to almost 9,000 chips.

Elsewhere, Russell Crane, Marvin Rettenmaier and Jimmy Fricke all have more chips than what they started with, Fricke in particular finding himself with an above average stack.

Time Running Out To Buy In

Nivel 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

There are only 20 minutes remaining of Level 6 and that means would-be players have 20 minute left to buy in. Anyone buying in now would receive 15 big blinds for their $1,000, which is hardly deepstacked but still workable.

Radoja Running Away With Proceedings

Nivel 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Mark Radoja is flying high here in the Brasilia Room after turning his 3,000 starting stack into a whopping 27,000.

Former hockey star Greg Mueller is also nicely poised for a run at the chip lead and is sat with 16,200 chips.

Mizzi Goes Missing

Nivel 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Sorel Mizzi recently completed a potentially life-threatening prop bet when swam from Ipanema Beach in Brazil to an island 5km off the coast!

During his challenge he had to worry about vicious tides, strong currents and potentially sharks. Thankfully, Mizzi came through relatively unscathed from his battle with nature, which is more than we can say for his battle in Event #4's shark-infested waters.

The seat where Mizzi once sat is now filled with a new player and Mizzi is nowhere to be seen. Perhaps he's headed tot he pool to swim a couple of thousand lengths?
