Givens Doubles Through Le Marchand

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Stanislas Le Marchand opened the action with a raise to 25,000 from early position and the action folded to Will Givens in the small blind. He moved all in for 184,000 in total and once Angela Prada-Moed folded, the Frenchman snap-called.

Givens: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}
Le Marchand: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}

The Frenchman was still ahead after the {4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop, but the {10-Hearts} turn and the {9-Diamonds} river gave Givens a full house to leave Le Marchand crippled.

David Hass moved all in from the button and Peter Tobias gave it some thought and eventually called from the big blind. Tobias was at risk and behind with {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} versus the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} of Hass.

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Tobias exited the tournament area.

Sixes Hold for Le Marchand

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Will Givens raised from middle position only to see two all-in bets come after it. Stanislas Le Marchand three-bet all-in from the small blind and Patrick Curzio reshoved from the big blind. Givens got out of the way and the cards of the active players flipped onto their backs.

Curzio: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Le Marchand: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

A flop reading {5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} was safe for Le Marchand's sixes, as was the {J-Clubs} turn. The {6-Spades} improved Le Marchand to an unnecessary set of sixes and he doubled for the second time in the past half hour.

Saul Four-Bet Folds

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ivan Saul was the first player to act and he raised to 21,000 from his seat in the hijack. The action then passed around to Loren Klein in the small blind and he three-bet to 51,000. Saul paused for a minute or so before four-betting to 92,000. Klein didn't need as long to think as Saul did and he moved all-in.

Saul quickly folded and said, "Show me an ace," but was shown the {Q-Hearts} instead.

Jan Suchanek

Jan Suchanek opened the action with a raise to 22,000 and Angela Prada-Moed called out of the small blind, the big blind folded. On the {4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop, Prada-Moed checked, Suchanek bet and Prada-Moed raised for another 100,000 on top of the original bet. Suchanek moved all in for more than 350,000 in chips and was snap-called.

Suchanek: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Prada-Moed: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

The move of Suchanek came at the worst possible time and he was already drawing dead after the {9-Spades} turn. The {Q-Hearts} river completed the board and Prada-Moed emerged as the by-far chip leader with 16 left.

Ng Doubles Through Tobias; Tobias Doubles Back

Nivel 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Kim Ng moved all in from under the gun and Peter Tobias also moved in from middle position. Everyone else folded and they were heads up.

Ng: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Tobias: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The flop of {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Spades} brought a set for Tobias, but the {j-Diamonds} gave Ng Broadway and the {2-Clubs} river failed to improve Tobias and he was knocked back to 76,000. Ng started to get up, not realizing she had hit the straight, but the players brought it to her attention and she collected her chips.

The next hand, Tobias doubled up after his {a-Hearts}{5-Spades} caught up to the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} of his opponent after a completed board of {2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

Le Marchand Finds Aces

Nivel 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Stanislas Le Marchand has been nursing a short stack for a while and has been moving all-in or folding in an attempt to double. In a hand that took place a few moments ago, Le Marchand moved all-in for 108,000 from the cutoff and Dmitrii Shchepkin called in the small blind.

Le Marchand turned over the best starting hand in hold'em, {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and Shchepkin {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

By the river the board read {4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and the Frenchman's aces earned him a much needed double up.

Karakikov Doubles Through Ho

Nivel 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Duy Ho raised from the cutoff and faced an all-in bet of 60,000 from Pavlin Karakikov on the button. Both blinds folded and Ho called to put Karakikov at risk of elimination.

Ho: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Karakikov: {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Ho was way in front with his dominating ace-jack, but fell behind on the turn of the {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{10-Spades} board. The {3-Hearts} completed the board and Karakikov doubled.

Givens Shoves on Prada-Moed

Nivel 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded to Will Givens in the small blind and he open shoved for 240,000 into the big blind of Angela Prada-Moed. The latter sat there quietly, counted her chips and then asked the opponent one of the most common poker questions: "Will you show if I fold?"

After a good two minutes, Prada-Moed folded and Givens quickly mucked his cards as well without a single word.
