Levy Ships the River

Nivel 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Steve Levy checked the turn into a hefty pot of about 9,500 on a board of {3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}, and his opponent on the button checked it back. On the {2-Diamonds} river, Levy quickly stacked all of his chips and dropped them into the middle, and his opponent folded.

Olivier Busquet is already down to 2,100, and from the looks of the stacks at his table, it appears he sent most of that over to Sam Stein. Stein, known as "KingKobeMVP" online, is coming off a recent runner-up finish in the Event #40: $10,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship where he earned $207,347.

Pahuja Picks Up Aces Early

Nivel 1 : 50/75, 0 ante

Following a {10-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Spades} flop, Mukul Pahuja check-called a bet of 2,200 after there was already over 4,000 in the middle. He was in the small blind against an opponent on the button, and both players checked the {3-Hearts} turn. Two more checks followed the {9-Clubs} river, and Pahuja showed {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, while his opponent had mitigated losses with {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}.

The WPT Player of the Year is certainly one to keep an eye on even in a field this stacked.
