Spinella Spins Up a Monster Stack

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Anthony "holdplz" Spinella is by far our chip leader here in the $5,000 event after sending German pro Martin Hanowski to the rail.

A preflop raising war between Spinella and Hanowski where the latter was on the button and Spinella in the small blind, resulted in Hanowski being all-in with {A-}{K-} and Spinella {10-}{10-}. The board ran {Q-}{J-}{7-}{4-}{4-} and Spinella saw his stack rocket skywards.

Miscikowski Mauls Tuthill and Glazier

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

David Miscikowski checked from the small blind on a {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. David Tuthill moved all in for around 14,000 chips from the big blind and Jackie Glazier raised. Before we could count Glazier's bet, Miscikowski had moved all-in and Glazier had called!

Glazier: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Tuthill: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Miscikowski : {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

Miscikowski's set held as the {3-Clubs} turn and {A-Hearts} river completed the board, busting Tuthill and cutting Glazier's stack in half.

Schemion Tank-Folds

Nivel 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

We found Ole Schemion tanking against an all-in shove from a player in late position. The board read {4-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}, and Schemion counted out his stack: 38,000. After a couple of minutes, he decided to preserve his chips rather than call the wager and mucked his hand.

Glazier Getting Respect; Mercier Busts

Nivel 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Matt Davenport fired 5,200 on a {10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop against two opponents, and Jackie Glazier made the call from the cutoff. Josh Arieh folded out of the blinds, and the two remaining players watched a {10-Spades} fall. Davenport bet again, 7,500, and Glazier raised to what looked like 16,000, prompting a muck from Davenport.

At another table, Jason Mercier lost the last of his chips when his {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} was outdrawn by {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} on a community of {j-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Selbst Send McLaughlin to the Rail

Nivel 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Marc-Etienne McLaughlin was first to act in the cutoff and he raised to 3,500. Vaness Selbst was on the button and she called and when both of the blinds folded the dealer spread the {4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{A-Hearts} flop.

McLaughlin bet 3,000 which left only 22,000 behind and Selbst called. The turn introduced the {8-Spades} to the table and McLaughlin checked its arrival. Selbst bet 5,500 and then insta-called when McLaughlin check-raised all-in.

McLaughlin showed {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and was drawing dead to the {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} in Selbst's hand that had improved to a straight. McLaughlin had already stood from his seat by the time the inconsequential river was dealt.

Barer Snaps Off a Semi-Bluff

Nivel 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Ami Barer bet 5,000 from the button on a {7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop after two opponents checked to him, and the big blind raised to 15,000. The cutoff folded, and Barer made the call. On the {8-Spades} turn, and big blind shoved all in for roughly 30,000, and Barer quickly called after double-checking his hole cards.

Barer: {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Big blind: {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Barer faded the big draw when the {6-Clubs} gave the big blind merely two pair on the river. The Canadian has in excess of $2 million in live cashes and is coming off of a win in the Aussie Millions main event. He has millions more in cashes online.

Tureneic Turns Up The Heat

Nivel 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Sweden's Michael Tureneic has doubled the size of today's starting stack and currently has 145,000 chips at his disposal. There is potential for fireworks at his table as he is sat with Melanie Weisner and Martin Hanowski who both have bg stacks, the latter being our chip leader right now.

Carlton Doubles Through Linde

Nivel 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Dylan Linde opened for a raise to 3,500 in middle position, and Everett Carlton made it about 11,000 from the big blind. Linde pushed all in, and Carlton made the call with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, dominating Linde's {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

"Nice hand," Linde said.

Carlton's hand got even nicer on the {3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop, and the {4-Diamonds} turn signaled the end of the hand.
