Franck Yenigotchian is the Bubble Boy

Nivel 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Franck Yenigotchian was reported to be the chip leader after day 1b but that turned out to be a typo and he started the day with around 53,000 in chips. It wasn't supposed to be his day though, as the Frenchman who lives in Germany was just eliminated on the bubble.

He moved all in for 13,500 and was called by Julian Parmann one seat over, all other players folded. Once all tables were completed, the two of them proceeded to the showdown and Yenigotchian held {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Parmann turned over {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and had to fade a ton of outs on the {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} flop. Both {7-Diamonds} turn and {6-Diamonds} river blanked and the bubble burst.

Volpe Survives Bubble, For Now

Nivel 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Paul Volpe was all in preflop for what looked like 5,000 and got called two ways before the player on the button reshoved all in for another 21,600 on top. The third player in the hand folded and Volpe won the flip with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} versus {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} as the board ran out {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Loud and Clear

Nivel 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The dealers have just been reminded to announce all seat opens immediately, which means that the bubble period isn't too far off. According to the screens, just under 500 players still have chips and the top 468 will get paid.

Hennigan Short, Laxineta Loses Some

Nivel 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

John Hennigan is down to less than 10 big blinds after paying off the {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} for top two pair of an opponent on the river.

Louis Laxineta had an opponent all in and at risk for 23,400 while putting him on {A-}{Q-}. That would have been a flip for his pocket eights, but instead the opponent turned over {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}. There was no help on the {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} board and the hand cost Laxineta about one third of his stack.
