Aoki Looking to Replicate Her Ladies Event Run

Mikiyo Aoki was a virtual unknown in the poker world a few weeks ago. Her only recorded tournament cash was a third-place finish in a local Las Vegas casino for $2,109. She changed that with a second-place finish in the WSOP Ladies Event a few weeks ago, adding $94,800 to her bankroll. Aoki is looking to turn that into something even bigger here and recently took down a pot that moved her stack upwards of the 100,000-chip mark.
We got to her table with 37,000 in the pot and Aoki made a bet of 15,000. The flop showed 
and her opponent folded. Aoki, who started the day with just 27,000 in chips, would sit with 138,000 after the hand.
