Herm Makes a Strong Call

Nivel 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The flop read {6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{J-Clubs} when Eddie Ochana checked from the small blind to Mark Herm in the big. Herm bet 44,000 and Ochana check-raised to 143,000.

Herm went into the tank for quite a while but eventually he made the call.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Ochana moved all in to put a lot of pressure on Herm.

Ochana's shove was for about 300,000 chips and Herm tanked for about eight minutes before he ultimately made the call.

Ochana: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Herm: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

Herm had made an impressive call for a lot of chips and he was rewarded when the river bought the {2-Spades}. Herm's now sitting on one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Finstein vs. McNatt for 1.75 Million Pot

Nivel 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Michael Finstein
Michael Finstein

A massive hand just played out over at Table 364 between Michael Finstein and Rocky McNatt.

By the time we arrived at the table, there was already 700,000 in the pot and a board reading {3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Action was on Finstein, a Las Vegas local, and he announced that he was all in for his last 434,000. McNatt, who hails from El Dorado, California, barely had him covered and thought for about 15 seconds before making the call.

Finstein rolled over the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for tens full of nines and McNatt was left shaking his head as he showed the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for nines full of kings.

"The nine murdered me," McNatt lamented. "If the nine didn't come I can probably get away from it. Nice hand."

Finstein doubled into the chip lead while McNatt would go on to lose the rest of his chips a couple of hands later.

Roberts Busts Rabinowitz

Nivel 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Darren Rabinowitz opened for 12,000 on the button, and Daryl Roberts made it 33,000 in the big blind. Rabinowitz jammed it in for 158,000, and Roberts thought briefly before calling.

Roberts: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Rabinowitz: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}

The two were off to the races, and Rabinowitz kept the lead with a {k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{j-Hearts} flop, but an {a-Diamonds} turn left him with two outs. He didn't get there when the river was a {2-Spades}.

Cichy's Ladies KO Guerra

Nivel 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Cristiano Guerra moved all in for 60,000 from early position and action trickled around the table to Hunter Cichy on the button. Cichy called the all in and the blinds got out of the way.

Guerra showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} but was in dire need of help against Cichy's {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. The dealer fanned a {Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} flop, giving Cichy middle set and a death grip on the hand. The {3-Diamonds} fell on fourth street and Guerra stood up from the table and gathered his belongings. The {k-Hearts} finished off the community cards and Cichy was pushed the pot.

Sedgeman Blows Adam Off a Hand

Nivel 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Matthew Sedgeman saw an unknown bet amount called on a board of {8-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, and Alfie Adam checked to him on the {3-Diamonds} river. Sedgeman fired out a hefty bet of 150,000.

"Two kings?" Sedgeman asked as Adam tanked. The two exchanged some low-volume banter and Sedgeman smiled, staring at the felt. Adam released his hand, and Sedgeman showed {7-Clubs} as he mucked.

A Few Chip Counts From Around The Room

Nivel 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Lady Luck

Nivel 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Aaron Painter was all in and at risk for 116,000 - around the size of the pot - on a flop of {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} with {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, and he was dominated by the {k-}{k-} of Daniel Lee.

Lee remained ahead on the turn ({4-Spades}), but the {q-Spades} spiked on the river to give Painter a winning set of queens.

"Yes!" Painter said, his backpack already on his shoulders. "I can put this down now!"
