Blackman's Black Nines Upended

Nivel 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Curtis Rystadt raised to 35,000 from middle position, Timur Margolin shoved for 290,000 from the small blind and Scott Blackman called all in for 239,000 from the big blind. Rystadt folded, and the cards were revealed.

Margolin: {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Blackman: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The shorter stack was in great shape to double until the {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop shot Margolin into the lead with a pair of jacks. Neither the {7-Hearts} turn nor the {Q-Diamonds} river saved Blackman and he was eliminated.

Politano Over Jiganti

Nivel 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up with the action on a {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{J-Spades} flop, we found Zach Jiganti moved out a bet of 128,000. Bruno Politano called and the {Q-Hearts} came down on fourth street. Jiganti waited a moment before moving out 345,000 on fourth street. Politano called once more.

The {8-Spades} hit the felt on the river and Jiganti slowed with a check. Politano quickly rapped the table behind.

"You've got it," said Jiganti showing {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for ace-high.

Politano showed {A-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks and took down the pot. He now has about 2.62 million in chips while Jiganti has dropped to three million.
