Martin Shoves On Guo's Turn Check-Raise

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

From early position, Dong Guo raised to 100,000. Trevor Martin called from the next seat, and everyone else folded before the dealer spread out the {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} flop. Guo checked, and Martin bet 175,000. Guo called.

The turn was the {10-Clubs}, and Guo checked. Martin bet 275,000, and Guo check-raised to 630,000. Martin fired back with an all-in shove for 2.06 million, and Guo folded.

Jacobson Calls Sabat on Wet Board

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

We found Martin Jacobson, having checked from the small blind, considering a wager of 200,000 from Eddy Sabat in the cutoff. The board had come {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades}, rife with possibilities, and Jacobson decided on a call. Sabat showed {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for a boat and took the pot.

Tonking Shoves on Placey

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

William Tonking opened for 105,000 form early position and Peter Placey opted to defend from the big blind. When the flop came down {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}, Placey led out for 125,000, Tonking called, and the {3-Spades} appeared on the turn. Placey bet again, this time 240,000, and Tonking responded by moving all in for 995,000.

Placey tanked for two minutes before releasing his hand and Tonking was pushed the pot.

Kyle Bowker Eliminated in 71st Place ($103,025)

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Kyle Bowker - 71st place
Kyle Bowker - 71st place

Thomas Sarra Jr opened to 115,000 and Kyle Bowker moved all in for 540,000 from the hijack. Sarra Jr went into the tank for a few moments before eventually making the call to put Bowker at risk.

Sarra Jr: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Bowker: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}

With Bowker in great shape to double, the {7-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop saw Sarra Jr spike his two-outer and now leave Bowker needing to find one of the case kings in the deck.

The turn of the {8-Hearts} gave Bowker outs to a chop with any ten making a straight on the board, but when the {3-Clubs} landed on the river, Bowker headed to the rail in 71st place for a $103,025 payday as Sarra Jr climbed to 4.27 million in chips.

Anh Van Nguyen Eliminated in 73rd Place ($85,812); Benjamin Gold Eliminated in 72nd Place ($103,025)

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Benjamin Gold - 72nd Place
Benjamin Gold - 72nd Place

Vitaly Lunkin opened to 105,000 from early position and it folded to Anh Van Nguyen who moved all in for 550,000 from the cutoff. Benjamin Gold moved all in over the top for 1.665 million from the small blind. Christopher Greaves went into the tank in the big blind for quite some time before moving all in over the top as well. Lunkin folded and all three hands were tabled.

Van Nguyen: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Gold: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Greaves: {A-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{A-Spades}, giving Greaves top two pair and a tight grip on the hand. Greaves had both of his opponents covered, meaning they would need to find improvement on the final two streets in order to stay alive. The {5-Hearts} fell on the turn, keeping Greaves out in front.

The {3-Spades} finished the board, meaning both Van Nguyen and Gold would be eliminated from play. Greaves took down the massive pot and now has about 4.89 million in chips.

Gabe Paul Eliminated in 74th Place ($85,812)

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Gabe Paul
Gabe Paul

Gabe Paul opened from middle position with a raise to 110,000 and Kyle Keranen three-bet from the big blind to 300,000. Paul made the call, the dealer spread a {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and Keranen bet out 350,000.

Paul contemplated for a few moments and then moved all in for roughly 1,480,000 with Keranen making the call.

Paul: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Keranen: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

With Paul drawing to a heart or an ace to stay alive, the {5-Diamonds} on the turn now have him outs to chop with any eight or three seeing both players split the pot.

Unfortunately for Paul, the river brought the {7-Clubs} and he was sent to the rail in 74th place for a $85,812 payday as Keranen climbed to 10.3 million — the first player to cross the eight-figure mark for the tournament.

Another Double for Lamphere

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Michigan's Adam Lamphere, who is being supported on the rail by his friend and Mid-States Poker Tour FireKeeper's champion Jason Zarlenga, began the day as the third shortest stack, but thanks to two doubles he's put himself right back into contention.

In his latest double, action folded to Lamphere on the button and he raised to 580,000, leaving himself a single green T25,000 chip behind. Tony Ruberto called from the big blind and then bet 25,000 dark upon realizing Lamphere had the chip behind. Lamphere called it off.

Lamphere: {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Ruberto: {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Lamphere was well out in front thanks to his kicker, and he actually managed to hit two pair on the {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop. The {6-Diamonds} turn left Ruberto drawing dead, and Lamphere was shipped the double after the {J-Spades} was put out on the river.

Baron Plays Jacks Slow

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to Isaac Baron, who completed from the small blind. Daniel Wilson checked his option, and the two saw a {4-Spades}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop. Baron check-called 50,000, then did so again for 125,000 more on the {10-Diamonds} turn. Both players checked the {9-Clubs} river, and Baron showed {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} to take the pot.

One for Greer

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

On the {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop, Garrett Greer and Craig McCorkell checked to see the {4-Diamonds} land on the turn. Greer was first and bet 85,000. McCorkell called, and the river was the {2-Hearts}. Greer fired again, this time wagering 265,000. McCorkell folded, and Greer won the pot.
