One for Weber

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Jason Weber opened for 110,000 under the gun and then called when Aaron Kaiser three-bet to 290,000 from the small blind. Both players checked the {10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Spades} flop as well as the {5-Diamonds} turn, and then Kaiser checked for a third time on the {4-Spades} river.

Weber took the opportunity to bet 305,000, and Kaiser tanked for two minutes before releasing his hand.

Heads or Heads

Jeffrey Loiacono
Jeffrey Loiacono

Robert Park moved all in for effectively 1.02 million - a pot-sized bet - on a board of {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. With his Main Event tournament life on the line, Jeffrey Loiacono went into the tank.

He asked for a coin, wanting to flip for his decision, and Michael Kamran tossed a quarter across the table.

"You need a Batman quarter," Leif Force told him. "Two heads. Choose your own destiny."

Loiacono flipped the coin, didn't like the result, then flipped it again. He then stood up from the table.

"This spot is so sick," he said.

Finally, he put his index finger on one card and his middle finger on the other, slowly sliding them into the muck.

Cole Doubles Through Newhouse

William Cole Doubles Up
William Cole Doubles Up

Mark Newhouse was under the gun and he popped it up to 100,000. William Cole three-bet to 325,000 from the next seat over. Action came back around to Newhouse and he four-bet shipped all in. Cole instantly called for 1.385 million total and the hands were turned on their backs.

Newhouse: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Cole: {A-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

"Whatever happens, I'm livin' the dream," Cole yelled to his supporters on the rail. Cole's ace-king was in the lead heading to the flop and stayed that way as {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{J-Clubs} graced the felt. The {3-Hearts} fell on the turn, meaning Newhouse would need to catch a queen in order to score the elimination. The river was the {8-Spades}, ensuring Cole's continued life in the Main Event. He now has 2.805 million in chips while Newhouse has dropped to 4.89 million.

Johnson Finds a Double Through Keranen

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Steven Bennett opened to 110,000 from the cutoff only to have Kyle Keranen three-bet the button to 230,000. From the small blind, Chris Johnson moved all in or 1,095,000 and Bennett folded before Keranen went into the tank and called.

Keranen: {J-Spades}{9-Spades}
Johnson: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

With Johnson holding the slight advantage, the {3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop gave him additional outs to a straight, and when the {7-Clubs} and {A-Diamonds} completed the board, he doubled to 2.4 million as Keranen slipped to 8.7 million in chips.

Roberts Finds Aces and Doubles

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Clayton Hamm opened to 110,000 from middle position and Brian Hastings called in the cutoff before Brian Roberts three-bet the button to 340,000. Hamm kicked his cards to the muck, but Hastings called as the flop landed {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Hastings checked.

Roberts continued with a 455,000-chip bet and Hastings moved all in. Roberts called all in for 1,945,000 and the cards were tabled.

Roberts: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}
Hastings: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

With Roberts in the lead but needing to fade plenty of cards to stay alive, the {K-Clubs} and {J-Hearts} on the turn and river ensured Roberts the double to 4.8 million as Hastings slips to 1.3 million in chips.

From under the gun, Aaron Kaiser opened to 115,000 and Jason Weber called before Brian Hastings three-bet to 380,000 from the button. With the action on Michael Stembera in the small blind, he moved all in for 640,000 only to have Kaiser iso-shove for 1,665,000 to force both Weber and Hastings out.

Stembera: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Kaiser: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

With Stembera in a world of trouble with his dominated underpair, the dealer spread a {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} board to send Stembera out in 70th place for a $103,025 payday as Kaiser climbed to 2.4 million in chips.
