It was looking like Costagliola would double up when the 9QQ flop gave him a full house. The Q turn saw some opportunities for Strebel, however, and he made the better full house when the A river completed the board.

Costagliola had no choice but to depart the tournament in 11th place while Strebel chipped up to an eight-figure stack.

Dpbos checked again on the J turn, this time being met with a bet of 1,350,000 from his opponent. After some thinking time, he said goodbye to his sevens as another pot was shipped Trunk's way.

Speranzoni Takes and Gives

Nivel 34 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Alberto Speranzoni had been dominating the table for several hands, picking up blinds along the way, before he raised to 500,000 from the early position holding 109. Ferdinando Costagliola, sitting in the small blind, responded by shoving all-in with A3. After some deliberation, Speranzoni made the call.

The 568 flop gave Speranzoni plenty of outs, as he needed to improve his hand. However, the 3 turn and Q river didn’t change things in his favor, and Costagliola secured a crucial double-up.
