Michele Tocci opened to 50,000 from early position. Jacob Amsellem put him all in from the small blind. Action folded around and Tocci called.

Tirca Shoves on Kim as the Other Table Gets Restless

De Han Kim raised to 55,000 in middle position and Tiberiu Tirca called on the button.

Kim checked the A♥A♣5♦ flop and Tirca bet 40,000. Kim called and both players checked the A♦ turn.

Kim then led out for 200,000 on the 3♠ river and Tirca moved all in for 720,000. While this hand was taking place, the other table was waiting for a player to fill the seat of the departed Rubin Okotie. As the minutes continued to burn off the clock as Kim tanked, they pleaded with a tournament official to pause the clock but to no avail.

Kim eventually folded. "Quads. Show one time, it's a small tournament," Martin Kabrhel said, but Tircu returned his cards face down.

Hakobyan took a huge leap towards a double-up on the Q♥6♦5♣ flop after he paired his queen, but was made to sweat as Amsellem picked up a flush draw on the 10♣ turn. Hakobyan punched the table on the 6♣ river, as he was eliminated after Amsellem backdoored a flush.

Kabrhel Bets Big on the River Against Amsellem

Jacob Amsellem raised to 32,000 in the cutoff and Martin Kabrhel called in the small blind, as did big blind Arshavir Hakobyan.

The flop came Q♠9♣4♣ and Amsellem bet 66,000. Only Kabrhel called and the 9♥ turn was checked through.

The 7♠ fell on the river and Kabrhel spent several minutes counting out his stack before putting together a large stack and pushing it into the middle so that it collapsed. The dealer counted out a bet of 184,000 and Amsellem snap-called.

Kabrhel turned over K♣9♦ for trip nines and Amsellem mucked.

Ran Shahar raised to 34,000 in the small blind and Theodoor Woolschot called in the big blind.

The flop came all aces with A♦A♣A♠ and both players checked. The last ace then fell on the A♥ turn. "At least I know you don't have aces," Shahar said as he bet 20,000. Woolschot folded and Shahar showed K♦K♠ as he took the pot.

At another table, Bogdan Roman raised to 25,000 under the gun as action folded to Martin Kabrhel in the small blind. He took nearly five minutes until another player called the clock. Kabrhel eventually folded, while Karl Strasser in the big blind also took several minutes.

The clock was again called and Strasser made a triangle to indicate he was all in. Action was back on Roman who tanked for more than a minute until folding as Strasser took the pot that lasted nearly 10 minutes without going to a flop.

Vito Barone raised to 66,000 out of a stack of 86,000 from the small blind. Martin Kabrhel folded in the big blind and Barone tabled 3x3x.

In the following hand, Kabrhel opened to 27,000 from the small blind, and Philipp Esser called from the big blind.

"That's me," Kabrhel repeated as the flop came K♥10♣9♦. He bet 25,000 and was called.

"That's me," Kabrhel said again as the J♠ turn came in on the turn. "I have a flush draw now."

"And now a straight," as the action checked through to the Q♣ river. Kabrhel bet 300,000 to put his opponent all-in and Esser checked in a calling chip.

Kabrhel tabled 4x2x and played the board. Esser turned over 9x7x to chop the pot.

"One of the greatest call in poker history," complimented Kabrhel as he asked the dealer for his chips back.
