Budac Checks Out While Morina Cashes In!

Nivel 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

With more than 400,000 already in the pot and the board displaying 56JQ6, Stepan Budac checked to Arber Morina, who seized the moment to fire a bet of 225,000. Budac took his time, weighing his options carefully as he contemplated his next move. After a lengthy deliberation, he ultimately decided to make the call.

When it came time for Morina to reveal his hand, he proudly showed AA, two pair with aces. Budac, unable to match that strength, quietly mucked his cards, conceding the pot to Morina and boosting his stack significantly.

Thomas Eychenne started the action with a raise to 40,000 from the hijack, but Yann Lormel quickly pushed all in from the cutoff for 220,000. After some contemplation, Eychenne made the call, and they went to a showdown.

Lormel revealed AJ, while Eychenne showed 98. With Lormel currently in the lead, Eychenne needed some help from the board. The flop of 7910 was a good start for him, giving him a pair of nines along with a flush draw.

Now it was Lormel’s turn to seek assistance from the board, but the 10 on the turn didn’t change anything for him.

However, the river brought the J, giving Lormel a better pair. But Eychenne had struck gold, hitting a straight, and he sent Lormel to the rail.

Cosmin Nica: AK

Chatzopoulos fell behind on the 36K flop and Nica improved to two pair after the A fell on the turn. However, Chatzopoulos's survival instincts kicked in when he found the J on the river, which gave him a set and kept him alive.

Action folded to Yuet Wong in the small blind who moved all in for 335,000. Thomas Eychenne in the big blind tanked for a few minutes and eventually called to put him at risk.

Yuet Wong: 88 All in
Thomas Eychenne: K10

The K25 flop gave Eychenne the lead with a pair of kings, while the rest of the board came Q4 and Wong was sent to the rail.

Victor Dota and Yann Abitbol were also eliminated shortly after returning from break, while Giuseppe Bellusci and Eden Anzio quickly followed Wong to the rail. A count of the players showed 190 remaining, meaning Abitbol finished on the bubble while Wong, Bellusci, and Anzio split a min-cash of €800.
