Beck Gets Eychenne to Fold the River

Nivel 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

With around 140,000 chips already in the middle on a flop of 476, Thomas Eychenne had led out for 65,000 and Daniel Beck called, before Giorgi Barabadze got out of the way.

On the J turn, Eychenne checked it over to his opponent, who fired 65,000. Eychenne called.

Eychenne checked again on the 5 river and Beck made a bet of 100,000. After looking at the board and back at his cards, Eychenne elected to fold.

Nivel 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

In a blind versus blind battle, Fahredin Mustafov bet 75,000 on a board of 109105 before Xiaohua Yang raised to 250,000. Mustafov called and the 7 fell on the river.

Yang then led out for 400,000 and Mustafov quickly called once more. Yang turned over A2 for a flush and Mustafov mucked as the start-of-day chip leader took in the big pot.

All three players checked the 695 flop. The turn was the 2 and Sterba bet 72,000. Brinceanu called, while Elharar got out of the way.

The 6 fell on the river and Sterba bet another 225,000. Brinceanu snap-called with KK, while Sterba could only show J2 for a pair of deuces as Brinceanu raked in the big pot.

Krutaj Leaves Grecu Steaming and on Fumes

Nivel 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Cristi Grecu, who was on the fortunate side of a double up earlier today, just found himself on the wrong end of a cooler against Amarildo Krutaj.

Heads-up on a board of K827, Grecu bet 40,000 from middle position and Krutaj moved all in for 110,000. Grecu called with KJ for top pair, but Krutaj had K7 for turned two pair.

Grecu slammed his chips on the table once Krutaj revealed his cards and watched as the 6 river forced him to hand over most of his stack. Grecu was still muttering to himself and fumbling his chips around while the pot was pushed to Krutaj.

Nivel 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Catalin Diac raised to 25,000 in the cutoff before Klas Krueger three-bet to 85,000 on the button. Diac tanked for several minutes until the clock was called. He eventually moved all in and Krueger snap-called for 188,000.

Klas Krueger: AA All in
Catalin Diac: 99

Krueger had woken up with aces and was a big favorite to double up as the board ran out 4J357, forcing Diac to hand over most of his stack.

Unexpected Double-Up for Seman

Nivel 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Amiel Gamliel kicked off the hand with a raise to 27,000 from under the gun. Vitalii Seman, in early position, responded by shoving his remaining 137,000 chips, and Jesper Hansen, sitting in the cutoff, followed suit, jamming for 288,000. With the decision back on Gamliel, he asked the dealer for a count but ultimately folded his hand, sending it to a heads-up showdown.

Vitalii Seman: KJAll in
Jesper Hansen: AK

Hansen looked confident as the flop came down 3109, though Seman now had a straight draw in play.

The 4 on the turn didn’t change things for Seman, and he seemed ready to walk, but the river brought the Q, completing his straight. Seman doubled up, staying alive in the tournament, while Hansen was left with a short stack.
