"Why you always wait for me?" Lightbourne said to Andreu as the 8♣ fell on the turn. Lightbourne then took a sip from his drink before tossing in another 2,000, but this time Andreu came back with a raise to 6,000. Lightbourne quickly called.
Andreu slowed down and checked the 9♦ river. "Nine is good," Lightbourne said, checking back. Andreu didn't have a nine, but he did show Q♠8♦ for trips to win the pot.
"Ace-three. I thought he was trying to bluff me," Lightbourne added after the hand. Despite dropping that pot, Lightbourne is still sitting on a big stack of around 170,000.
