Ramos Bullies Out Barbosa

Nivel 9 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Renan Meneghetti opened to 8,000 in middle position and was called by Dennys Ramos on the button and Jose Barbosa in the big blind. The flop came J86 and the action checked to Ramos who did the betting with 15,000. Barbosa called and Meneghetti laid his hand down.

The turn was the Q and Barbosa checked again. Ramos sized up a bet of 40,000 this time and that proved to be enough to force Barbosa's cards to the muck.

Nivel 9 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Henrique Lessa raised to 5,000 in the cutoff and was called by both of the blinds. The flop fell J65 and Lessa continued with a bet of 7,000 which only the small blind called.

The turn was the J and both players checked to the 3 on the river. The small blind checked for the third time and Lessa dropped in a stack of 75,000 chips. The small blind briefly thought and then called off his last 37,000 chips. Lessa held 97 for a missed straight draw and his opponent was good with KQ for king-high.

Nivel 8 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ramos Distances Himself from the Field

Nivel 8 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Dennys Ramos

On a board of Q957, Dennys Ramos was heads-up with Renan Meneghetti in a pot that already had over 120,000 in the middle. Ramos checked from the big blind and Meneghetti tossed in a bet of 28,000. Ramos check-raised to 80,000 and his Meneghetti called.

The 7 paired the board on the river and Ramos used two time banks before announcing all in as the big stack. Meneghetti was put to the test for his remaining 145,000 chips and he dipped into the tank. As two minutes struck the clock, he was forced to give up his three time banks along with his cards.

Ramos collected the largest pot of the day thus far and therefore took over a sizeable chip lead on the rest of the field.

Fraiha Comes Out on Top

Nivel 8 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A big hand was developing on Table 100 after a raise and a three-bet took place in early position. Stetson Fraiha four-bet shoved all in for 121,500 in the cutoff and Murilo Milhomem was in the tank from the small blind. Milhomem five-bet shoved all in as the big stack which got the original raisers to step aside.

Stetson Fraiha: AK
Murilo Milhomem: QQ

It was a classic flip and Fraiha took the lead on the A44 flop with the ace appearing in the window. The 2 on the turn gave Milhomem a flush draw but the J on the river secured the double up for Fraiha.
