Claudio Pitta Eliminated in 11th Place (R$160,680)

Nivel 23 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Claudio Pitta
Claudio Pitta

Action folded to Murilo Milhomem in the small blind who moved all in. Claudio Pitta took a peek at the clock before calling for 1,200,000 in the big blind.

Claudio Pitta: QQ All in
Murilo Milhomem: J4

Pitta had woken up with queens and was a big favorite to double up as the flop came J108, giving Milhomem hope with a pair. The J turn was a disaster for Pitta as Milhomem made trips. Pitta, standing up from his seat, put his hands atop his head at the sight of that fateful card and watched helplessly as the K river ended his tournament in 11th place.

The action folded to Santiago Plante on the button who raised to 1,200,000, leaving himself with just a few chips behind. Gustavo Neves announced all in from the big blind and Plante eventually called it off.

Gustavo Neves: 77

It was a coin flip and the flop of 753 gave Neves a set of sevens and a stranglehold on the hand. The 10 on the turn left Plante drawing dead to the 9 on the river, sending him to the rail in 12th place.
