Alexander Norden opened to 2,500 from under the gun and received calls from Ankit Ahuja in the small blind and Sylvain Mazza in the big blind.
The flop came 7♣7♠9♥ and action checked around to Norden who fired a 3,000 continuation bet. Ahuja check-raised to 8,000, Mazza got out of the way and Norden made the call.
Ahuja bet 5,000 on the 9♣ turn and was once again called by Norden. On the 5♥ river Ahuja shoved for a bit over 20,000 and after taking a couple minutes to weigh his options Norden made the call.
Ahuja could only show 4♥4♠ for a counterfeited pocket pair turned into a bluff. Norden tabled 8♠8♥ for two pair, nines and eights and scored a full double up while Ahuja was left with just over a single big blind.
