When the Q♦8♦3♠ flop hit the felt, Ashelm checked to Abrissa who fired 2,500 into the middle. Ashelm responded with a check-raise to 6,500, putting Abrissa to a decision. After about 20 seconds, he tossed his cards into the muck and the dealer shipped the pot toward Ashelm.

The fourth season of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) run by PokerStars is well underway and the action only continues to heat up with the recent schedule release for its marquee stop in Las Vegas. Running from Friday November 1st through Sunday November 10th at Resorts World Las Vegas, the series is not one to miss as it features a whopping 36 tournaments in the span of a week and a half.

Buy-ins range from just $250 all the way up to $25,000 so there are plenty of options for those who want to enjoy some live tournament action without breaking the bank while also providing an opportunity for high stakes regulars to satisfy their desire to play for eye watering sums of money. The high volume means the series comes with a healthy $4,000,000 in total guarantees, including a sizable $3,000,000 set aside for the $5,300 Main Event.

Lauri Gets Punished For Making the Right Call

The action was caught with the flop of Q♣Q♦8♦ showing with around 30,000 in the middle. Edoardo Lauri checked from the big blind and Alfredo Versace shoved for roughly 36,000 from the button. Lauri thought it over before flicking in the call for almost all of his chips.

Versace had a lot of outs to stay alive. However, the 9♣ turn meant he was one card away from elimination. The 5♦ appeared on the river to improve Versace to a flush, earning him the double up while leaving Lauri with crumbs.

River Nine Saves Moallem

The J♣9♥6♣ river was a beautiful one for Moallem as he picked up a pair and a flush draw. However, he did not improve on the J♥ turn. Golka remained in the lead until the dealer peeled the 9♠ on the river to improve Moallem to a full house as he crippled Golka.

Birchall Virtually Triples With Big Slick
