With almost 20,000 chips already in the pot on a board of 6♣6♠K♠, both Georgios Zachmanidis and Xavier Sandoval Sala had put in 7,000 on the flop.

The turn brought a 4♦ where Sala checked, Zachmanidis shoved, and Sala called off his stack of around 22,000.

Sala's flopped trips were in the lead and managed to fade the flush draw of Zachmanidis as the 4♥ completed the board, which improved Sala to a full house.

Pitzanti Puts Henrik to the Test

Henrik Juncker opened to 1,800 from the cutoff and received calls from Pablo Battista in the small blind and Sandro Pitzanti in the big blind.

The flop came 10♦10♥2♣ and action checked around to Juncker who bet 2,000. Only Pitzanti made the call.

Pitzanti check-called another bet from Juncker on the 8♣ turn, this time for 5,000.

On the J♦ river Pitzanti led out with a shove, covering Juncker who had 17,000 behind. Juncker opted to fold and Pitzanti took down a nice pot without showdown.

There wasn't much hope for the short-stacked players after the flop of A♣A♠Q♥ improved Chicheportiche to trip aces. Fernandez did pick up a flush draw on the 2♥ turn but the 7♣ river was a brick, which meant Chicheportiche took the pot and eliminated two players at the same time.

Marc Alonso opened to 2,200 from early position and received calls from Georgios Zachmanidis in middle position and Giuseppe Cimelli in the hijack before Nick Palma shoved for around 30,000 from the button. Alonso and Zachmanidis got out of the way before Cimelli, who had started the hand with around 15,000, made the call and was at risk.

"Classic Cooler" joked Palma, who moments earlier had received what he said was his fifth beer of the evening. Palma was a huge favorite after making top pair on the A♠K♠9♥ flop and remained ahead when the rest of the board ran out 6♦10♥ to score the elimination.

Palma predicted to his tablemates that he will be bagging exactly 602,000 by the end of the night before dragging in the pot.
