Ho Falls to Koulopoulos

Nivel 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Lavi Liraz opened to 6,500 from early position and Ioannis Koulopoulos called from the hijack. In the small blind, Maria Ho jammed for her remaining 40,500. Liraz thought for a while before he let it go, then Koulopoulos snap-called.

Maria Ho: 99 All in
Ioannis Koulopoulos: JJ

Ho found herself in bad shape against the jacks of Koulopoulos and it stayed that way on the 633A8 runout as Ho hit the rail.

Gilboa Outflops Aces, Still No Good

Nivel 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Having unfortunately bubbled Day 1e, Uri Gilboa was looking for redemption as he found himself in another pivotal hand. Ramiro Garcia raised under the gun to 5,500, Gilboa called next to act, and Christianus Lovrencevic came along in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of JJ5, and Lovrencevic check-folded to a continuation bet of 7,500 from Garcia while Gilboa made the call.

The Q turn was checked through to see the 6 on the river, where Garcia led for 16,500. Gilboa gave it a few moments of thought while staring at the board, and eventually tossed in the call.

Garcia rolled AA for a flush, and Gilboa flashed the J before surrendering his other card.

Bohler Sniffs Out Ridet's Bluff

Nivel 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Pascal Ridet raised from under the gun to 4,500 and found one call out of Pascal Bohler in the big blind.

Bohler check-called a bet of 3,500 on the 28A flop.

Both players checked the J turn, and the 2 appeared on the river. Bohler checked, but Ridet bet 9,500. Bohler through it over for around a minute before throwing in the call.

Ridet tabled KQ for just king-high. Bohler had that beat as he showed 98 for just a pair of eights.

EPT Cyprus Champ Bows Out

Nivel 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Dare2Stream and 2023 EPT Cyprus Main Event winner [Removed:553] moved all in for 18,000 from middle position and was called by Ryhor Karapanau from the cutoff.

[Removed:553]: A9All in
Ryhor Karapanau: 1010

Simon had three outs and picked up more equity after the 542 flop gave him a gutshot to the wheel. The 2 turn paired the board, offering no help to Simon. The Q river confirmed his exit and Simon wished the table good luck before heading out.

After EPT Barcelona, the EPT will be returning to Cyprus after the massive success of the inaugural event in 2023.

The 2024 version will be the same, hosted at the mesmerizing five-star Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa from October 9-20.

Macdonnell Tangles with Feddag

Nivel 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Karim Feddag opened to 5,500 under the gun and was called by Marc Macdonnell in the next seat, and the player in the small blind.

Action was checked to Feddag on the 753 flop, who fired out a bet of 7,500. Only Macdonnell called.

The 8 rolled off on the turn to complete a potential flush, and Feddag slowed down, check-calling a bet of 11,000 from his opponent.

On the A river, Feddag checked once more, but folded when Macdonnell fired out a bet of 44,000.

The Stand Up Trick Works Again

Nivel 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Mario Trattou opened 7,000 under the gun and Ridvan Kilincaslan shoved his last 17,500 next to act. The action folded back around to Trattou who quickly made the call.

Ridvan Kilincaslan: Q8 All in
Mario Trattou: KQ

Kilincaslan was dominated and the A74 flop gave him little hope. The 2 on the turn prompted him to stand up, saying, "Good luck, everyone." However, the 8 river was exactly what he needed, pairing his eight to score the double.

Presterud Spikes River to Claim Double Knockout in Cooler

Nivel 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Paul Leckey opened to 5,000 in early position and was faced with a three-bet jam by Lorenc Boci in the small blind to 39,500.

Eirik Lund Presterud was in the big blind and moved all in with a stack covering both players. Leckey thought things through momentarily, before moving his stack totaling around 60,000 into the middle.

Lorenc Boci: QQ All in
Paul Leckey: KK All in
Eirik Lund Presterud: AK

Leckey was in great shape with his pocket kings, while Boci looked pretty disgusted with the spot he found himself in.

The 754 flop didn't alter matters, but the 6 turn gave Lund Presterud the diamond draw and also brought chop possibilities to reduce Leckey's equity.

As the players waited for the river, Lund Presterud rubbed his king of diamonds, almost pointing out to his opponents that he'd picked up the draw.

The A then rolled off on the river, sending Lund Presterud the pot with his pair of aces and sending his two unfortunate opponents to the exit.
