PokerStars have revealed details of this year's World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) festival, the 23rd installment of the historic flagship series.
With over $80 million in guaranteed prize pools, the festival sees 379 tournaments spread across the traditional three separate tiers: Low, Medium, and High. Buy-ins range from $5.50 to $25,000, and 12 World Championship events offer players a chance at further glory in various disciplines.
There's also more than ever to look forward to with the introduction of the WCOOP League, Silver and Gold Power Path bundles, and added prizes for Women's events. Read on to find out more!

Benjamin Spragg opened to 2,500 from early position and was called by Jonatan Wedde on the button, Salvatore Senes in the small blind, and Mohamed Aissani in the big blind.

On the A♠Q♥J♥ flop, the action checked to Wedde on the button who put out a bet before Senes jammed for 22,600 from the small blind. The action folded back to Wedde who put in the call.

Both players had flopped two pair but Senes had the best of it with top two. The A♦ on the turn left Wedde drawing dead to the 7♠ river as Senes collected a massive pot.

Ikam Benyeffou raised from the cutoff to 3,100. Daisuke Ogita three-bet out of the small blind to 10,000 and Miika Töyräs four-bet shoved for 66,000 from the big blind. Benyeffou folded, but after a few moments, Ogita made the call for his remaining 37,000.

The flop of 3♦A♣Q♠ put Ogita in the lead with a pair of queens. The 9♣ on the turn didn't change anything, and when the 3♥ hit the river, Ogita doubled up to 100,000.

The 8♥ completed the board on the river, and Bigot paused for a few moments before jamming for about 20,000 and Ricken snap-called.

Bigot rolled A♠Q♦ for top-top, but was shown the bad news as Ricken tabled Q♣J♣.
