Michele Tocci opened from under the gun and Alejandro Lococo called in the big blind.
The two went heads-up to a K♠8♠5♦ flop which saw Tocci continue for 180,000. Lococo check-raised to 560,000 and Tocci put in the call after some consideration.
The turn brought the J♦. Lococo did not take long before he announced all-in for 2,400,000 effective as the covering stack. Tocci was pained by the decision but decided to lay it down after a couple minutes in the tank.
Lococo then slammed the Q♣ on the table as he raked in the pot, followed by the A♠ for just a gutshot and ace-high.

Luis Rayon Perez opened 160,000 in early position and Alexandre Reard defended the big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of J♠6♣4♣, and Reard check-called a bet of 130,000.
When the 5♥ fell on the turn, Reard led for 225,000, and before the chips even hit the felt, Perez's cards were already in the muck.

Erik Marasco opened to 160,000 from the cutoff and just behind him, Francesco La Scala shoved for his last 1,225,000 on the button. It was folded back to Marasco, who quickly called to put La Scala at risk.

Erik Marasco: A♣Q♣
The K♠K♦2♥ flop left Marasco all but drawing dead against La Scala's trip kings and the 9♦Q♦ turn and river confirmed the double up for La Scala.

Ren Lin opened for 160,000 under the gun and called a three-bet of 325,000 from Bryan Araujo, who was a couple of spots to his left.
When the Q♠9♦2♠ flop hit the felt, Lin checked and Araujo continued for 175,000. Lin wasted no time check-jamming, and Araujo snap-mucked.
Lin flipped over his K♠10♥ face-up, saying, "My friend bluff too much."

Action folded around to Nicolas Coppini, who raised to 200,000 from the small blind. Gabriele Re just called from the big blind.
Re called a 160,000 bet from Coppini on the J♣4♠10♠ flop and then called all in after Coppini bet enough to put Re in for his remaining 610,000 on the 6♣ turn.
Gabriele Re: A♦A♠
Nicolas Coppini: A♥J♦
Coppini held top pair, but had run into the slow-played aces of Re to find himself drawing thin.
The A♣ river kept Re best with a set of aces and he doubled up through Coppini.

It's official. After its return in 2023 following a 12-year hiatus, PokerStars has confirmed that The Big Game on Tour is back again this year, with more episodes to be filmed at the NAPT Las Vegas festival.
Ten episodes of the show were filmed last year, with the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho, Lex Veldhuis and Sam Grafton all taking part. The show features a lucky Loose Cannon who receives $50,000 and has to survive 150 hands playing $50/$100 with a table of poker pros, ambassadors, and celebrities.
PokerNews spoke with Big Game on Tour judge and commentator James Hartigan ahead of the show's return, and he says he's thrilled the show is back.
Action was picked up on the river on a completed board of 10♥9♠8♦6♥7♣ in a hand between Svetlin Sabev in the cutoff and Pierre Basile in the big blind with around 750,000 in the middle.
Basile checked to Sabev who put in an overbet of 1,025,000. Basile was in clear discomfort at the prospect of calling for a chop. Eventually, he flicked in a chip to call and he got the bad news as Sabev rolled over J♦J♣ for a higher straight as he collected a large pot and left Basile crippled.

Robin Berggren limped in the small blind and Hugo Gotuzzo checked his option.
The dealer spread a flop of Q♥10♠6♥, and Berggren check-called a bet of 120,000.
When the 10♦ paired the board on the turn, Berggren took the lead, dropping 300,000 across the line. After about 20 seconds of thought, Gotuzzo slid 2,300,000 across the line. Berggren had 1,200,000 total and quickly made the call.
Robin Berggren: 10♣8♣
Hugo Gotuzzo: Q♠7♣
Berggren turned trips against Gotuzzo's flopped top pair and the 6♦ river improved him to a full house.

Ren Lin opened to 170,000 on the button and found one caller in Jorge Ramella in the big blind for a heads-up pot.
Ramella check-called an 80,000 bet from Lin on the 10♠K♥K♦ flop and both players checked on the 2♣ turn.
The 8♥ completed the board and Ramella led out for 105,000. Lin cut out a raise to 600,000 and placed it into the middle — sending Ramella deep into the tank.
Ramella eventually put in calling chips and Lin said, "I have it," as he tabled K♠3♥ for trip kings.
Ramella sent his hand into the muck and Lin added to his stack.
"You gamble too much!" Lin said. "Just fold to Day 4!"
