Daniel Drommel opened to 125,000 from under the gun and was three-bet to 345,000 by Theodoros Ampelikiotis from the hijack. Action folded back to Drommel, who announced he was all in, which was enough to put Ampelikiotis all in for 1,575,000. Ampelikiotis quickly called and hands were revealed.

The 2♠ turn checked through to the J♦ river which also checked through. Rodriguez Ulloa revealed A♣J♣ to the surprise of McConachie who stood up from his chair and flicked his cards in frustration as he mucked.
