Jamie Dwan opened to 5,000 from early position before Daehyung Lee three-bet to 15,000 from the hijack. In response, Dwan jammed as the covering stack and Lee used a time bank before he put in the call for 55,500.
Daehyung Lee: 6♥6♦
Jamie Dwan: A♠A♥
Dwan was in great shape to score a knockout and it stayed that way on the 8♣5♥2♥ flop and the 9♥ turn. However, the dealer had other plans as the 6♣ peeled off on the river as Lee spiked a two-outer to survive.
Nichan Khorchidian raised to 5,000 under the gun and Nick Petrangelo called on the button. Kiwamu Watabe then moved all in for 47,000 in the small blind, Khorchidian folded, while Petrangelo called.
Kiwamu Watabe: 8♠8♣
Nick Petrangelo: A♣Q♥
The flop came A♦3♦7♣ to give Petrangelo the lead with a pair of aces, while Watabe couldn't catch up on the 10♥ turn or 9♦ river as he headed to the rail.
Peter Turmezey was all in for around 60,000 from the cutoff and up against Malcolm Franchi in the big blind.
Peter Turmezey: A♦K♠
Malcolm Franchi: Q♦Q♣
Turmezey hit the A♣ on the flop, but it was followed by Q♠8♥ as Franchi spiked a set. The rest of the 3♣4♥ board couldn't save Turmezey and he was sent to the rail.
Maria Ho and Masato Yokosawa were also recently eliminated.
With around 40,000 in the middle on a board reading J♣5♦4♠2♦ Marcin Kreft was all in for around 45,000 and up against Jack Corrigan who covered him.
Marcin Kreft: A♠A♥
Jack Corrigan: K♠J♥
Kreft was in great shape to double with the best possible starting hand but the K♥ river improved Corrigan to two pair and he took the pot while Kreft was sent to the rail in brutal fashion.
