Lee Three-Bets the Turn

Nivel 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with 60,000 already in the middle in a hand between Enrico Coppola from the hijack and Hon Cheong Lee from the small blind.

On a board reading QJ73, Lee led for 35,000 only to be be min-raised by Coppola to 70,000. In response, Lee three-bet jammed for 155,000, much to the distaste of Coppola who was left with a difficult decision.

After using two time banks, Coppola opted to fold, conceding a massive pot in the direction of Lee without showdown.

Miracle Runout Saves Zamani

Nivel 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Martin Zamani
Martin Zamani

Umberto Ruggeri opened to 4,000 from under the gun before Martin Zamani jammed for 56,500 from the hijack. Ruggeri thought for a moment before he put in the call and the cards hit their backs.

Martin Zamani: 99 All in
Umberto Ruggeri: AQ

It was a coinflip scenario with Zamani having the slight edge. The K76 flop gave Ruggeri the nut flush and left Zamani drawing almost dead as he got up from his chair and grabbed his bag.

However, the K on the turn paired the board and gave Zamani some outs. In miraculous fashion, the K peeled off on the river, giving Zamani a full house as the table erupted at the absurdity of the runout. Zamani sat back down and collected his double as Ruggeri took a photo of the board in shock.

The K turn was checked through to see the 10 on the river, and Franchi fired 31,000 into the middle. Abad thought it over for a few moments, and decided to let his hand go.
