Kade Avoids Faro's Trap

Vlastimil Pustina opened to 1,100 in early position and Timothy Faro called in the small blind. Vanessa Kade tossed in the call from the big blind and the dealer fanned out the 7♠3♦4♣ flop.

Faro checked to Kade, who fired a bet of 2,500. Pustina folded before Faro made the call.

The 5♠ turn saw Faro check again, calling after Kade continued for 3,500. Faro checked one last time after the 7♣ river was revealed.

Kade took some time before checking back. Faro showed 4♥4♦ for a full house, raking in the pot as Kade mucked.

Jeffrey Gunnip raised to 1,100 in the cutoff and Tim Reilly called on the button. Rob Mariano then moved all in for 9,800 in the big blind, Gunnip called, while Reilly laid down two sixes.

Gunnip picked up a straight draw going to the river on a board of 5♠9♥6♣J♥, but Mariano's ace-kicker stayed in front on the J♠ as "Boston Rob" earned the double up.

"I was thinking about calling anyway," Reilly said after seeing he would've flopped a set.

Joe Serock from early position was tangled in a pot with Andreas Ioakimides on the button.

After both players committed 8,000 into the middle on the turn, the completed board read 8♥4♦2♦3♦Q♠. Serock checked to Ioakimides who threw out a bet of 5,000. Serock went into the tank for around a minute before he flicked in the call and he got the bad news immediately as Ioakimides revealed 10♦7♦ for a turned flush as he scooped the pot.

Tristan Wade checked the Q♣4♠2♠ flop in the hijack and called when Matthew Wantman bet 800 on the button.

Both players then checked the Q♦ turn, with Wade checking again on the J♣ river.

Wantman tossed out a 5,000 chip, leaving just a single black 100 chip behind. Wade announced all in, and Wantman snap-folded while smiling over at Wade.

That last 100 chip was gone shortly after as Wantman hit the rail.

Dunn Commits a "Whoops" to Double Horowitz

Jacob Horowitz bet 2,400 from the button on a flop of 3♣2♦7♦ and Tara Dunn called in early position.

The turn was the 7♠ and Dunn led out for 6,700. Horowitz called and the Q♥ fell on the river. Dunn then moved all in and Horowitz called for 16,100.

"Whoops," Dunn said as she showed 5♦5♣. Horowitz turned over K♣K♠ and doubled up.

"Good read," Dunn told Horowitz after the hand.

David Jackson, Ryan Riess, and Terrance Reid are also at this table.

Vanessa Kade opened the cutoff to 1,200 and Ayman Qutami called on the button. In the small blind, Vlastimil Pustina three-bet to 4,800. With the action back on Kade, she cut out a four-bet to 12,200, Qutami folded, Pustina jammed for just under 21,000, and Kade called.
