Matthew Wantman raised to 250,000 in the cutoff and David "ODB" Baker announced a raise to 1,500,000 in the small blind. Wantman instantly folded and admitted he grabbed the wrong chips and raised more than he intended.
At another table, Curt Kohlberg raised to 60,000 in the cutoff and Jared Jaffee three-bet to 210,000 on the button. Kohlberg then moved all in for 800,000 and Jaffee burned through several time banks before folding.
Jaffee opened to 60,000 the next hand, the last of the night, and everyone folded. "This could've been last hand," Jaffee told Kohlberg, showing A♦A♠ as players prepared to bag up for the night.

Just 18 players remain after Day 3 of the PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) $5,300 Main Event at Resorts World Las Vegas, with Victor Paredes leading the way in the quest for the $765,200 top prize. Close behind Paredes are three-time bracelet winner David "ODB" Baker and Mike Vanier and Martin Carnero, who respectively sit second on the Nebraska and Peru all-time money lists.
Those who advanced through Day 3 include PokerStars Ambassador Maria Konnikova, 2006 WSOP Player of the Year Jeff Madsen, Japanese content creator Masato Yokosawa and high-stakes pros Matthew Wantman, Brock Wilson, Marco Johnson and Jared Jaffee.

Day 3 Highlights
The field of 77 players on Day 3 quickly dwindled with the money bubble already burst the previous day. Some of those who fell early on include reigning champion Sami Bechahed and qualifiers Andrew Voor, Jordan Glazer, Nathan Wasson, Jonathan Newman, and Brent Burrows.
Data of the tournament entries showed 35 different countries represented among 543 unique entries. About three-quarters of the field was American, while other countries represented included Canada, United Kingdom, Taiwan, Argentina, Mexico, Italy, Hong Kong, Argentina, Greece and Hungary.
Konnikova received an early boost as she picked up aces to bust Louise Francoeur. The PokerStars ambassador battled throughout the night with her mentor Erik Seidel just a few feet away in the $10,300 NAPT High Roller.

Jon Swift's elimination after dinner break made way for the final three tables. Reigning WSOP Main Event champion Jonathan Tamayo was one of the first to go at this stage after having his aces cracked by Nick Marchington.
Other late-night eliminations included Brian Yoon (21st - $26,000), Frank Brannan (20th - $29,900) and Gold Pass qualifier Brian Frasca (19th - $29,900).
Action will pick up on Saturday, Nov. 9 at noon local time on Level 25 with blinds of 20,000/40,000/40,000. There will still be another day of play before the next NAPT Main Event champion is crowned on Nov. 10.
